I fell in love with the idea of Stone Soup when KGW was doing a weekly news piece on them so I had to go check them out in person. Everything about Stone Soup is delightful! The restaurant is spacious and bright with an eclectic mix of chairs with plaques on it from the Portland restaurant that sponsored the chairs. The staff s attentive and friendly. Craig is usually at the front counter taking orders and always willing to share the story of Stone Soup. The support and collaboration...
I can't say enough about this organization. What they do, who they are, and the food they serve are all why I support them wholeheartedly. Eat well, feel good, and do better for Portland. Could you ask for more? Thank you Stone Soup for doing what you do in our community. I'll see you soon~ Heather
Stone Soup is a beautiful hidden treasure. Their food is delicious and healthy. The staff are kind, patient, and bright. There is keto, vegan, and GF menu items. All staff are from corrections and are working to gain a great skill set in the kitchen and at the register. To top it off, all their chairs are donated and on the back of each is a plaque stating where it was donated from. How cherishing!!
