Nice staff, quick service, bomb pizza. all I needed for post drinks food.

Great big 'ol pizza slices you can good in half. Good beer, good pizza.

We were here at 9:45 pm on Monday August 18. The Pizza was great & the lady that made it was an absolute angel! Very polite , god bless her soul. Unfortunately the same can’t be said of the cashier / the rude stand offish curly haired woman taking our order who ruined the entire experience!

I am not one to post reviews , I have better uses of my time , Look up my profile - I probably would have had 4-5 in the past decade if not more. I need to have an exceptionally bad experience to take the time to write one of these !!

I don’t know what is up with that curly haired lady taking the order & why she has so much attitude, but from the get go - When we first walked in - and were placing our order , she had a terrible attitude.

Then turns out 40 minutes in she forgot to relay the order to the person that actually makes the pizza (who is an absolute gem , professional & great at her job as previously mentioned)

When asked as to why the order was not put in , her response was forgot , don’t want want your money - take your money in an aggressive tone ! Her exact words were - “Just take your money , I don’t want to deal with this “

Mistakes happen, totally get it , but not a “sorry “ could come out of her !! She is an absolute disgrace!!

If I were management and reading this , you should look out for more reviews specifically talking about the behavior of this one individual & maybe course correct as a business!!

They don't make full pizzas within an hour of closing. Total BS. Especially when the slices available look like they've been there for 6 hours.

I grew up in a pizza restaurant. We stopped making whole pies exactly zero minutes before we closed.

Good pizza. Fresh, hot and tasty. Selection of a few flavours at anyone time. Staff are friendly and helpful. Clean inside, clean bathrooms, little outdoor seating area at the back. Good value for money, just $10 for two slices and a refillable soda 🥤 Overall a good little spot to stop for a quick bite.

Honestly it’s better than a 3 star but compared to all the other food spots around, it’s definitely over rated and just can’t compare

Incredible pizza but god awful service. Have been going here for years and loved it, until this curly haired gal took our order. Had an attitude from the jump, we ignored it. Must be having a long day. Then she forgets our ranches and runs over to gossip with her coworker after handing us our food and drinks. No big deal, so we continue waiting at the counter. After a while and realizing she’s not going to notice I say “excuse me?” loudly because it was noisy in there. Not at all to be rude, simply to ask nicely for our ranches. She proceeds to blow up on us… saying “god damn can you not yell at me? I’ll get you your ranches you don’t need to be rude.” We weren’t at all, it was the other way around. So I’ve had it at this point and say, “we really didn’t ask for the rude service, I’m just asking for our ranches.” She starts arguing and getting in my face then says “no I think YOU just have a problem.” Incredibly unprofessional and embarrassing on her part. We’ve loved this place for so long and are super bummed that she ruined a great spot for us.

Extremely rude. Called me bro several times and then when I said ok bro threatened to kick me out. Then looked at me while I was eating and gave me the peace sign to which I gave a peace sign back. I guess that upset her so she ran up to my table and said she doesn't like me and will kick me out. This was the weirdest experience ever. I still don't understand what happened. I'm from New York and I felt extremely disrespected. I pray to God this cashier finds peace in herself.

The staff’s attitude is intolerable. There’s nothing New York about this place. Pizza is not good enough to deal with the attitude at the register, save your bread. To ownership, your people at Belmont are terrible, get rid of them, bad look for your business.

Pizza was good and staff were nice. The large chunk of black burnt ash on the bottom of the pizza made me wonder how long ago it was since the oven was cleaned.

You’re a restaurant, an establishment for people to come and get food and drink. Why do your employees play the music so loud with the bass reverberating? I came in to get a couple slices, had to get them to go and eat in my car and by the time I left after waiting three minutes for pizza, my head was pounding.

Straight From New York Pizza's Belmont location features a $10 slice & a salad deal, good service, convenient hours, and a cute outdoor back patio. I appreciate that they are open late most days, so head in and grab a slice! You can't go wrong with pizza when you're hungry.
