Decent pizza but they close at 9, not 11, despite what google says.

Really tasty pizza AND calzones here! It's such a shame that so few places sell/make calzones! I love them! ? ?

I order a pizza meaty pizza and expected tons of meat and flavor with onions and other ingredients.

I got my order and I was very disappointed by the look and how thin everything was. The ingredients were just rolling off the pizzas due to how small the ingredients were. Secondly, there was hardly any pizza sauce and the dough was beyond dry. There was barely any flavor or none at all. I feel like this pizza was already frozen since the crust was hard to bite into.

In my opinion, I do not believe this was a NEW York pizza and paid 35.00 for 7 slices. Everyone was looking forward to the pizza whom Portland constantly talks about this place and the reviews. My whole team I bought it for were all disappointed by everything and for the prices, it didn’t even serve 10 people.

I have never had New York style pizza because I am just a dumb little tourist from Canada but this pizza was absolutely bussin. I had a little diet coke with it and it dramatically changed the trajectory of my day. Appreciate this place.

please read. my experience here was terrible. on 5/17/24, I ordered a pizza by phone and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. my boyfriend and I ended up getting there 15 minutes early, so we decided “hey, this place looks chill. let’s go in and have a drink while we wait.”

we enter and it’s practically pitch black. whatever. the person at the front just kind of stares at us from afar with no acknowledgement. that’s fine, we’ll just get our drinks and sit over here quietly. as we are sipping our sodas, a man with long dirty blonde hair (definitely getting into food..) confronts us loudly and aggressively, accusing us of STEALING from them and NOT PAYING. when we are sitting there, silently waiting for our pizza. this man just immediately started getting mad, when we hadn’t done anything! my boyfriend politely tells him that we’re waiting for our pizza we ordered over the phone, he goes “okay, well..” and legit STOMPS OFF! I don’t care what kind of day you’re having, his demeanor was genuinely frightening. I was shocked and upset by this workers actions. this combined with the way we were not even given a simple hello when we walked up leads me to believe this was because of something more sinister. did not feel like a safe environment for me or my boyfriend anymore. we were yelled at for nothing, and given no apology. only a glare by the person at the cash register. i was very excited to try this pizza place, but i have to say i felt singled out. what could we have even been stealing?? the sodas we were about to pay for? the person at the front wouldn’t even acknowledge us. it was an awful experience.

i immediately asked for to-go cups for both sodas, paid for those sodas, and left. i haven’t felt this disrespected in awhile. service is trash, don’t accuse your paying customers of stealing. doesn’t feel very poc friendly…

The pizza was pretty decent, not a ton of flavor in the sauce, but it was good enough. The music was so loud we had a difficult time hearing the questions from the lady taking our order, and she obviously had a hard time hearing our order, as the sauce on 1 pizza was not what we ordered.

This place is an ongoing favorite. So good every time. Prices are low too, so it’s easy to justify heading here for lunch. The people are always nice and add a lot to the vibe of the place.

The “New York” calzone with 5 toppings and almost no ricotta is straight from someplace else.

Best spot for a late night slice in Portland. The pizza isn't going to win any culinary competition prizes, But it's hot and it's fresh and it goes down great after a night out on the town.
