Best coffee in PDX by far. With that being said, it’s nothing like the real Stumptown experience. A lot of negative reviews on here are comparing this location to the other local Stumptown locations… which I think is an unfair comparison. Airport locations will never replicate their standalone counterparts. However, if you’re looking for a good cortado, macchiato, or really any espresso based drink, this is a solid choice.
I have always loved Stmptown . But their food selections have gotten poorer in quality. Not very engaging or personal service, out of raw sugar and cappuccino temperature was almost at room temp. Not the quality or service I am used to getting there.
As a frequent flyer, I’ve always enjoyed Stumptown at PDX, but things seem different since the new location opened after the PDX remodel. It’s become really hard to get anyone’s attention. The last time I was there, the entire staff was chatting and tasting honey while a long line formed. Eventually, someone came to the register, but instead of taking my order, she just mumbled something and walked away. The people in line behind me exchanged uncomfortable glances and laughed...
