Expensive ($8 for a 16 oz iced latte) and not that good.

$9.00 for two hot drinks? I guess you'll pay a little more or a little less elsewhere. My cup of Americano was resoundingly okay.Seeing a tip jar for counter service irks and embarrasses me, especially when one considers how much Stumptown Coffee Roasters charges. If there isn't enough profit to pay the staff a good wage when you want nine bucks for two drinks, add a dollar to the up-front price instead of putting me on the spot. I'll take it or leave it.

Comfortable and pleasant coffee choice when in Downtown. The baristas are awesome, especially to my doggo. I also love that they have Ellenos ?

There were a few pastry options. Oat milk is used for all drinks (unless another is requested) so that's nice.

Located within the Ace Hotel, a must stop by coffee place. Both my friend and I were in town looking to get a coffee before headed to Multnomah Falls in the cold. I got a large Vanilla Latte with a bagel and she got the same, except with a cinnamon roll. The Vanilla Latte was amazing! You could tell it was made with care and measurements because it was perfectly balanced in sweetness to coffee ratio. The bagel was absolutely delicious. I think it was sourdough? (I could be wrong) but it was chewy yet crispy of course paired well with the cream cheese! The cashier and person on the bar making the drinks were kind and friendly upon arrival. Our drinks were made quick as well! Loved the environment here as it was quiet and perfect for the morning. 10/10

When Ace Hotel first opened you could get Stumptown delivered room service. Like the grand cafes of Buenos Aires, a staff member brought it to you on a silver tray. I didn't even drink coffee until I experienced this place. The love and attention to detail and pride the whole team takes in their work is evident. They are black belts, grandmasters of their trade and make it look easy. Take advantage of this holy land of coffee before they change locations! It will be the end of an era. It's my first stop every time I'm in town.

A great place for a quick coffee (or matcha) pick-me-up. This Stumptown Coffee is located within the Ace Hotel. Came here after going to the Ace Hotel for their iconic photobooth and had to grab a matcha for a lil midday pick-me-up and it did not disappoint. This location is small but very clean and it easy to grab a quick bite or sip. If you're interested in merch like beanies, cups, or coffee beans, they had some available for purchase.

One of the original, and still best, of Portland’s homegrown coffee roasters.
