There's nothing better than a fall Sunday watching your NFL team at Suki's II. I've been coming here since 2013 (formerly Claudia's), and it's the perfect gumbo of NFL fans, led by the Vikings faithful. Fair warning though, if you want a decent spot and your team is playing at the same time as MN, arrive early. And Em is an absolute gem of a Portland bartender who is a pleasure to hang with every week, win or lose. The legend of Claudia's is alive and well with Suki's II!

Service is spotty at best depending on who's working. The tall dude with curly hair and beard is the shining star among the rest of the mediocre staff.

I went out with some friends here to check out this second location since the original sukis closed.
Super excited, because I’ve been going to sukis for since I moved to Oregon.
I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. The blonde bartender was so rude. The only bars I like to go to, are usually dive bars. My friend and I ordered cocktails. My friend ordered first, bartender didn’t know what it was so my friend helped her out, told her what was in it. I order a blue Hawaiian. Look I totally understand if you don’t know how to do something. She could have said, “hey, can you tell me what it’s in that?”
She told me, without a chance to say anything to help her with the drink, “I don’t know what that is. You guys are ordering complicated drinks. You’re at a dive bar.” My spirits were low at that point. I wasn’t trying to be an inconvenience. I quickly ordered a margarita, told my group what happened, drank our first drinks of the night and left.

Worst experience in a while - blonde female bartender made multiple condescending comments towards our group to the point after she said “use your words,” I went up to her to ask what her issue was. I was immediately removed from the bar - the bartenders besides her were fine, but she was rude, dismissive, and targeted my group of friends without a viable reason. Despite explaining to the bouncer what had transpired, they told me they had to “remove the threat.” Customers ended up choosing other bars nearby after witnessing the altercation - don’t waste your time and money here - absolutely terrible experience.
Give Emily and Grant a raise

Love it, want some more of it!
P.S. I left my black button up shirt with the bamboo on it at the table closest to the karaoke and if you see it please hold on to it for me. :)
P.S.S.
I LOVE YOU. ❤️

Horrible bartenders. This place used to be an amazing sports bar. Now it’s just a bunch of rookie Saturday bartenders staring at their phones looking for some high praise. Don’t go. They did have a cool artist market in the parking lot with local vendors but still a strong pass on Suki’s II.

Not my favorite, although food was
Excellent. Long wait for a second song. One bartender was about to attend his regular rather than get me a drink even though I had stood there first. That’s cool I was a little rude and wedged my order in. Sports crowd cleared when karaoke was announced but the audience was too young for my taste. Some are so eager for praise.

Fun little hole in the wall. Bartenders are kind, service is quick, and they have one of those vending machines with mystery packs and random goodies.
I’m not a big sports fan, but they usually have a game or two on TV that folks are excited to watch.

Good place to go if you want to grab a few drinks and do some karaoke. Staff was very nice, the food was decent, was definitely bar food. But worth checking out at least once.
