It really sucks to make this review- I had only had good experiences here up until today, I thought of it as one of the better boba places in the city (and I am picky!)The drinks have always tasted good and the boba was sweet and well cooked but this time my drink tasted like 80% water, the boba was tasteless, and it was overly stale and chewy :(Super disappointing since I’ve never had a bad experience here before. I’m not sure if it was a misunderstanding but the worker there today was also very short with me, and banged and slammed things around in the back while making mine and other customers orders, to the point of being extremely anxiety inducing and overstimulating (which is why I didn’t say anything about my drink and left, it was extremely off putting and I just needed to get out of there)Hopefully this was a one off experience but I don’t think that I’d risk going back unless there’s assurance that this won’t happen again

I was in the area looking for a nice boba place and stumbled upon this small shop. I was reading the reviews and was kinda hesitant but I took a chance anyways. I ordered the strawberry marble and to my surprise, it was actually pretty good. I was kinda worried that it would taste too artificial but it wasn't. We also ordered the matcha tornado but I thought that drink was way too sweet for my taste. Overall, I would say to give it a try and who knows, maybe it'll be your next favorite boba spot

I’ve been here a few times. I love the strawberry black tea with lychee jelly. There was an employee a few months back that was INCREDIBLE, I’m unsure if they still work here but the other employees I’ve encountered have been ok. Today I went and they were closed. I even checked here on Google before hand to make sure they were open. The dry erase board, that isn’t even in a good spot for customers to see said they were supposed to be open. It seems like their hours on here and what they have posted in the window aren’t the same. Wasted a good chunk of my time today.

Great options whether or not you're into tea. The drinks default at cold, but upon request can be made warm. I do recommend either the boba balls or the soft coconut cubes. Very cool atmosphere in the center of the building which gives it an almost secret or hidden vibe. An absolute gem.Parking: I know Whole Foods has a huge parking lot underneath it that last for like three entire blocks underground. Access via NW 12th. Actually there are two entrances. Alternatively, consider the Portland Streetcar as a solid, reliable option for this area.

I really loved the drinks I ordered and the bobaristas there were very quick to take my order. probably some of the best boba I've ever had! will come again!!Kid-friendliness: there was a woman with younger kids there, and the guy working offered the children smaller cups and spoons to be accommodating. very sweet workers!

Swee2o is a cute tea shop located across the street from powells book shop. The prices are reasonable and the staff friendly. There is limited seating inside, however ample seating outside. The flavor was decent, however the consistency was a little thicker than I prefer for milk tea. I would try it again with the more interesting drink offerings.

Great place to get drinks. They say they have wifi but I can never seen to connect. Wrong password? Overall nice and quaint.

The dark skinned guy or girl with curly hair and a baseball cap working there has poor customer service. Walked in and waited about 7 minutes for someone to come out and take our order. As soon as I took out my card he/she/ left and didn’t even give me a chance to ask any questions. There were two workers in the back blasting music and just gossiping. Another two customers came in after I had ordered and asked if anyone was working there because it was completely empty. Don’t bother coming.

I love this place! The staff is always friendly and the drinks are absolutely delicious! My favorite is the Pink Minion.

I've been here a few times, and need to remember not to return. It is in a great location, just across from Powells in a nice retail area. But the layout of the store is funny, with a partition wall between the order-taking area and the food-prep area. The two employees working were hanging out in the back area, leaving confused and anxious customers unsure about ordering or waiting. On my most-recent visit, I selected something right off the menu -- and the employee made me feel a bit uncool / out-of-the-know when I was unsure about follow-up questions. I mean, I'm not a boba expert (I was with my teenage daughter, who loves the stuff), but you'd think that they could make a menu simple enough to order off of it, or at least train employees to guide patrons towards a drink. It was awkward. When we did get our drinks, they were fine. However, I'm always distraught at the amount of plastic these boba places use. The cups are made from a thick plastic, with a plastic straw in packaging made of... plastic. And a plastic lid. It's really not sustainable, and makes me feel sort of gross every time.I'm pretty sure that this store used to have a cool robot coffee-machine in the main area. That was a novelty, though it is no longer there.

Waited for a long time, employees exclaiming in the back. Very unprofessional.

Paris dream without the crème is excellent. So glad they are still here in 2023. Me and kids love it
