So happy I finally went to this local food cart! Taco Machine is a little food cart with seating space + a heater provided (huge win for a solo food cart pod)! Alongside this, there is a large selection of tacos and burritos to choose from.I had the breakfast burrito on my visit and it was delicious, I will definitely be back to get some tacos. I highly recommend Taco Machine, it is going to become a normal visit for me!

I’m a big fan of Taco Machine, not only for the great food but for the awesome owners who run the truck.The food is genuinely good Mexican, which is hard to find in Portland. There are all the classic dishes you’d want, plus some creative items like the “vampiro” taco and the grilled cheese burrito (a burrito covered in cheese and then grilled crispy).As a salsa aficionado, they’ve got great salsa and a lot of selections, some that are traditional and some not so much. I like the smoky and the chipotle mayo.The staff is always so friendly and kind. The last time we were there, they gave us Mexican hot chocolate while we were waiting because it was cold outside.If you haven’t been there in a while, the truck is new and they’ve added a nice covered eating area with heat lamps. They’re generally open 10 am to 7 pm, so plan accordingly. Highly recommended!

We absolutely love this place!!!! It is the some of (if not THE) BEST Mexican food in Portland!!! Every item is so delicious and made with such care, so high quality. The cart is beautifully done as well. We grab food here as often as we can. We love the staff so much as well, the owner is SO kind, welcoming, happy, and generous. She recently let us try her homemade mole tamales on the house as a treat, we were blown away by her generosity!! We love her!!! Can't recommend it more.

Listen, do not be fooled by these other reviews. I've tried this place on atleast three separate occasions and have held off on making this review.... I hoped desperately for the food to be good but it is not. Their tacos and burritos are not good, it's that simple. All of their meat choices lack serious flavor that you can only salvage by drowning it in salsa and mayo. This is not a great restaurant but will not make you sick atleast so there's that!

I only have a $4 a day budget for food so I rarely eat out but on Tuesdays I make an exception and take advantage of this places $2.50 taco day. It’s probably the thing I look forward to most all week and it makes me feel like a human for half an hour.
