If I could give this place 10 stars for service I would! The food was so good! I had four tacos; carne asada, carnitas, chicken, and chorizo. My favorites were carnitas and chorizo! Soo good. My idiot ex got the asada fajitas burrito and he says it was fantastic and the tortilla was excellent quality. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Dope sauces too

The owner is a welcoming and lovely person. He’s very kind and is always great to talk to. The lengua tacos are the best in Portland! I’ve been here probably close to 20 times over the past 6 months. If I could, I’d probably eat dinner here everyday. The rice and beans are so good too.

We came here late on a weekday, when only the cook was working. He did a great job making us welcome. I ordered the vegetarian quesadilla, and it was delicious: generous avocado and grilled onions and peppers, and a perfectly seared tortilla. They have plenty of salsas, with heat to spare.

We called and no one answered. I got a call back a few minutes later and was told to go to the store. I asked if I could place an order over the phone and he said no. We arrived at the store and ordered a quesadilla and burrito. It was overpriced. The burrito was very dry and the quesadilla was insanely burnt and tasted like it. We threw half of it out. It was inedible. I’m getting my wisdom teeth taken out tomorrow and I was excited to have my last meal. This was disappointing and I’m looking forward to not eating if that’s what it’s about! Wouldn’t come back.

Muchos gracias al hombre que me preparó dos tacos esta noche!

The pastor tacos were AMAZING, the habanero salsa is actually SPICY (hard to find in PDX), and the music slaps.

Pro tip ~ he has a stellar taco truck outside of The Pickleback Tavern for your late night cravings, too!

Volveré muy pronto :)

Very tasty lunch! I chose three different tacos, they were all fresh and delicious. The large salsa and toppings bar was a highlight. I look forward to returning with family or friends.
