I visited here for the first time several days ago. I had a matcha latte and I'm still thinking about it. I might have to move so that I can live closer to this place and come more often.

I have been searching for an authentic matcha place since moving to the PNW, and I finally found the one. The minute you walk in, the fragrant aroma of freshly brewed tea is like a warm hug to your senses. I literally had to stop for a few seconds before I ordered my drink to truly savor the aroma. We were greeted by Brittney (who was a total doll) and gave us a great tour of the menu and their preparation of homemade syrups and tea. I ordered the Bee Pollen Matcha with local honey and my friend ordered the Yuzu Matcha.
O M G the matcha was so clean, just the right amount of sweetness, and I didn't feel jittery afterwards. Just a nice, clean buzz of productive energy. What really sealed the deal was after we finished our drinks, Brittney came by and gave us free thermoses because she really enjoyed chatting with us. I've been struggling with my mental health the last two months, and this kind gesture from Brittney really brightened my day. With all the chaos going on in our world right now, it's beautiful to experience kind gestures :)

Tea Bar has the BEST teas around! Once I tried the Ceremonial Matcha I could never drink any other!! It is by far the BEST Matcha around! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the Hojicha!!! I had never tried it before and now I have it every night before bed. I find it very relaxing! Tea Bar is by far the BEST teas around!!

I had a matcha with oat milk and boba. It was not too sweet with a perfect matcha to boba ratio. As someone getting into matcha who has done research on matcha quality I can ensure you this matcha was high quality. The location was a good, not sketchy, part of Portland. The shop itself had a great ambiance. I sat there for hours if. Perfect environment for reading, study, meeting a friend, etc. So calm. So peaceful. And a must try boba shop! Overall such an enjoyable experience!
