Gem of a spot. The bar is beautiful and I love the esthetics of the whole place. Fantastic ambiance and great service. Tried the flight of spirits, an absolute must. Took home the gin & cold brew bourbon. Didn’t try the food but will do so next time as everything coming out of the kitchen smelled delightful.

Love this place! Cool vibe, great cocktails and food. Awesome deal if you get the distillery passport.

Their spirit flight for only 10 dollars was a steal!Atmosphere is nice but it's definitely a hipster type of crowd. Which isn't a bad thing but it isn't the atmosphere we expected at a distillery.I was hungry and saw they have vegan dimsum so I ordered the wonton in chili oil and it was underwhelming and over priced for what you get. I decided to save my appetite and go somewhere else down the street for lunch. This place does get crowded fast, so recommend to come in early. We would come back for the drinks but not for the food. But we wouldn't go out of our way for this place. Customer service was nice and attentive.

Really disappointed with this place primarily because of attitude from bartender/servers as others have mentioned. They are incredibly cranky and uninviting. Clearly unhappy with their jobs for whatever reason. Maybe it's because it's hot in there and they were sweating profusely but no matter what, they ruined the experience.

I've been to Aimsir before and love the space and their drinks. I love supporting a local women-owned business! This time was unfortunately a completely different experience. My partner (first timer) and I were met with uninviting glares as soon as we walked in 40 minutes before closing. We assured the host/server that we just planned to have one drink and would be sure to leave by closing. We were not aware Jade Rabbit was now there (previously Ichiza Kitchen) and given it was one of my favorites, we inquired about ordering one small appetizer. We were informed that the kitchen stopped taking orders 30 minutes before closing (while there were definitely 35 minutes to go while we were having this discussion). The server proceeded to bring out food orders for the entirety of the time we were there, for the two tables that were seated. Not once did they offer to ask the kitchen.Beyond the one drink each we ordered, we were not asked if we wanted anything else and rudely given the check before we were even done with our drinks. The drinks were average this time, a bit on the sweet side for our taste. But the experience definitely left a displeasing taste. I was hoping to share a favorite with my partner, but can't say that I'll even want to be back after this.

Intimate Art Deco-inspired setting in an unknown warehouse district fairy close to E Burnside. Went and was expecting American pub food--instead, we stumbled upon an all veg dim sum menu! Try the stuffed bunnies; so cute! (No, they're not actual bunnies. The dough is shaped like a rabbit!) Service was fine. Nothing to complain about.

Super cool spot!! A little hidden but beautiful once you find it. Very modern and masculine inside with great lighting! Service was great as well.I had a mezcal drink called “The Altar” and greatly enjoyed it. We also had fries to share and they were so crispy and fresh. Great date night idea or just way to get together with friends. I’m not normally a whiskey person but genuinely liked the ones I tried here.

I want this place to succeed so badly. I keep coming back because the food and drinks are amazing and I think they have something very special there, but the service is consistently some of the worst I've ever had. I really hope they get new staff or retrain who they currently have so that this can actually be an enjoyable place.

Such an amazing spot in Portland. Their standard gin is outstanding, their cold brew whiskey is out of this world, and their vodka is award winning as well. I recommend this spot for date night or tasting with your friends. Food is well curated as well!

Food was decent, drinks were ok, would likely return but the bartender that was serving us was incredible rude and it was so off putting we decided to cut our dinner short and leave. We arrived on 3/31 for dinner and the first male bartender that greeted us was super nice. The female bartender that ended up serving us was so passive aggressive, and asked for our food order from a distance, basically making us shout. For context, the bar was empty. We tried to order an extra cocktail and she snapped at us saying she'd be back (again, empty bar). We thought she was having a bad day but she seemed so effusively nice to other staff. Our standards are actually quite low and tip a standard 20% when it comes to food and beverage service as my husband and I both worked in restaurants before. It's confusing why you would choose to be rude and hasty in a bar environment that isn't even full - so rude. Never returning. The manager needs to intervene and explain basics to this bartender on basic customer service.

Aimsir was a cool spot on our Portland trip. The inside was well decorated and very busy, with a lively atmosphere. Tried a cocktail which was solid, however they were out of their conventional bourbon and I settled for a pour of their cold brew bourbon. I didn't try any food so I cannot comment.

This place has many names I think because we wanted to go to a place called Jade Rabbit at the Emerald room. So just a tip to remember. The Jade Rabbit is a vegan dimsum place. It's a small place with its own distillery so the cocktails are all made in house. Definitely recommend trying them. Some of them look good but don't taste as great. I would go with the bartender's recommendations. The vegan dimsum were all great. I particularly recommend the fried ones and the chilli oil one. The flavoring was just perfect. The place itself is small. There is some space on the second floor but we didn't go upstairs so I'm guessing there's more space to sit there too. There is lots of seating at the bar and it's generally not very crowded in the afternoons.

Drinks: - I had the Maple old fashioned and it tastes exactly like the name of the drink. Pretty cut and dry I know. The maple syrup really comes through though. At least with my experience, it's the top note and all the other flavors come secondary. It is a little on the sweeter sideFood:- The Rosemary Fries with the aioli sauce is a must get. The best way I can describe these fries are that they have the same exact texture as McDonald's fries (except more elevated). And that's not a diss in any way. The rosemary flavor is amazing with these fries, and the aioli sauce. None of the ingredients felt out of placeAmbience:- The place is just stunning the upstairs section feels like a lounge almost and it's really cozy up there- I loved the emerald and gold look with the plants- There's a viewing window into the distillery, seeing all the silver and copper vats was so cool- The place gives a elegant, steampunk, great gatsby type vibeOverall:The service was great, our server was very nice to us. The food and drinks came out at a good pace. The interior is just beautiful. I found myself starring at the exposed wood on the ceiling and just in awe of how stunning the interior design is. The place is just so aesthetically pleasing. It's a great place for a date, it's not too loud. I definitely want to go back and try their other drinks.

This place is a gem. My partner planned a surprise date night and this place was a perfect end to the night. Super clean, nice vibes, cozy vibes and quiet enough for a date night where you don't have to shout over the music or people. All in all, amazing experience. FOOD: We had just come dinner so only tried the rosemary fries with the aoili, but it was soo good. Imagine an elevated version of the glorious McDonald's fries. So good. I can't wait to go back and try more of their food. For drinks, I had the Alter (but with tequila blanco instead of the mezcal) and my partner had the Maple Old Fashioned. He said his drink was really good and the maple was an interesting yet pleasant twist on the classic cocktail. Mine was good but it was very tequila forward. It comes straight up without any ice but I asked for some ice to mellow it out a bit and that turned out nicely. The cocktail list is vast but I do wish they had more tequila based cocktails. That's just me!AMBIANCE: I loved it, gives a bit of cabin vibes with the wood. The bar is stylist yet cozy. Love the lighting and choice of furniture. SERVICE/PRICE: It was good! Attentive and nice staff.Food & Beverages: 4.4Ambiance & Cleanliness: 4.8Price Point: 4Overall Experience: 4.5

Awesome and very tasty drinks. Staff was super accommodating for a larger party that didn’t have a reservation. Suggest if you do have more than six or seven people to make a reservation just to make sure it’s a super cool place. Super nice people super yummy drinks.
