I really like the sandwiches but I have found hair in mine both times, other than that the taste overall is hands down amazing. The bread alone Is worth getting there early before they run out.
Dutch crunch.
Incredible
Fresh bread baked in house daily. Small space, order from kiosk or online ahead of time. They get really busy and sell out often. Friendly employees. TBLT or hot pastrami are favorites.
They make their own Gluten Free bread! It's delicious and fluffy, not dense like other spots. I recommend getting it toasted but regular is good too!
You get to order at a kiosk so you can customize your sandwich at will without having to feel bad and everyone is really kind if you have questions.
Anytime I'm in the area I grab myself a sandwich, those cookies are massive too! (Not GF but worth it if you can get away with it) If you haven't tried it, you should!
Favorite sandwich place in Portland. To Go shop only
I noticed this good looking spot last year and have been wanting to try it out. My friend and I shared two sandwiches that they cut in half for us: The Godfather and French Dip. Excellent sandwiches!!
Ordering is done through a monitor screen which takes a bit of perusing to get through, but you get to add optional ingredients (additional cost) and pick from the different rolls on your own. It’s a bit strange as you don’t really interact with anyone except when picking up your order in a bag. A “hello” or greeting of some sort would be nice. It feels like AI rather than a human experience. But the sandwiches are very good and I’m looking forward to coming back to try another.
Killer sandwiches on absolutely delicious bread. Four out of four family members were very satisfied. Turkey, French Dip, TBLT, and The Godfather. All excellent.

Most phenomenal sandwich downtown!
Clean fresh and quick, just how lunch is supposed to be. You just can't go wrong here. My favorite is the godfather or any of the hot sandos. All are super yummy ?
FYI: Take out only.

Did an online order, so the service was a good as I made it. Ordered the Godfather, was looking for an Italian sandwich. This had Italian meats but didn’t give me the Italian sub vibe at all. The iceberg lettuce is too wet, some parts of the bread were soggy, there was no oil on this. Hot pepper salad was not spicy and I’m not sure what it even tastes like. I don’t get the hype about this place, I could take or leave it. The space is super small and you’re doing the awkward shuffle while waiting for your order. I went for a week day lunch.

The salami and turkey sandwich was amazing—you do want to add avocado. What made it tho was the Dutch Crunch Roll. Everyone must try this roll. It’s like cornflakes baked on the surface of the best roll you’ve ever had. Vaguely sweet, certainly savory with a crunch to every bite.
Wheelchair accessibility: As long as you can find close parking on the streets of Portland, you can easily make it in and out with a walker or wheelchair.
