I have been here many times. My favorite dinner is their LG Caesar salad with double shrimp. Atmosphere is awesome, mixed interest capable with a gambling back room and sports on one side.

Wow. This place has always been inconsistent based on who is serving but in the last year it's gone to a whole new level of sadness. I walked in and there was no bartender behind the bar, no server, just an absence of caring. After about 10 minutes the lady who was the server, a newer hirer, bothered to pop her head around to pour a drink and offer service for breakfast. Apparently she was doing something else. I can't imagine anyone that isn't used to poor service and sub-standard fair waiting on her pleasure.

If it wasn't for the regulars that have been going there for 30 or more years they wouldn't make rent next month. An unfortunate pass in a fantastic old school Portland neighborhood.

The waitress was very polite, very busy and did her job well. Food was deluscious and the surroundings were outstanding. Thank you. I'll recommend going there all the time.
