Based on recent reviews, The Chinese Cowboy is a fun and cute spot with a chill vibe and nice fusion ambiance. The owner and host are friendly and kind. The happy hour is a highlight, with great options available all day on Sunday and from 4pm-6pm other days. Tasty snacks include crispy tofu, green beans, corn cheese, cauliflower apps, and brisket nachos. The pulled pork sliders were good, and the cornbread was nice and dessert-like, denser and lightly grilled with a sweet miso-caramel sauce. The brisket sandwiches were real good, and the gyro was fresh. The cowboy burger without the bacon was extremely good with a flavorful, moist burger and great bun ratio. However, the smoked brisket fried rice had too many peas, with some dry, hard brisket and more peas than meat. Everything on the menu is under $20, and the drinks are great. The place has live music and is a nice spot for a quiet drink with good background music.
