Good coffee, prompt service, clean bathroom, plenty outlets, GF pastries and I felt welcome to sit and gaze out of the corner glass windows and watch the rain fall for too long. I’d recommend 🤙🏼

This funky coffeehouse is like old times with a 70s vibe. The small size cashew cookies are just the right two bite treat. On a foggy Saturday I tried a new drink and didn't realize that I had not ordered a plant milk. The gracious counter staff would not let me pay for another drink. Their recommendation was to try a smooth hemp milk, which I never would have tried. It was quite nice.

This coffee shop has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with beautiful chandeliers that add a touch of charm. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which enhances the overall experience.

They offer a great variety of coffee, and I decided to try the honey lavender latte. While it wasn’t as flavorful as I’d hoped and leaned a bit too sweet for my taste, their pastry selection is impressive, featuring cookies, bars, muffins, and even cold sandwiches.

I did notice that the tables and floors were a bit dirty, and the table I sat at was a little wobbly, which can be improved. Additionally, you’ll need to find street parking, which costs about two dollars per hour, so keep that in mind.

Despite these minor inconveniences, it’s still a nice spot to relax and enjoy a coffee, and I’d be happy to return to try more items from the menu.

We were visiting Portland on vacation, and being the coffee addict I am, I was finding random shops close to the spots we were exploring. We went on the loop to see Witch’s castle and found after that hike, Dragonfly coffee house to be nearby. Menu looked good online so said let’s take a pit stop. Loved it loved it loved it. We had gotten the bees knees and a vanilla matcha. Additionally, we had a blueberry scone - it was good, wish we would’ve heated it up, but none the less. Freaking delicious! Fast and friendly service. On top it, the atmosphere is so cozy, makes you want to take a seat and enjoy it for awhile. Take a stroll there, you won’t regret it!

Reliably amazing cafe experience, with a large menu, competitive prices, indoor and outdoor seating, cheerful staff, GF snack options. Frequently bustling, for good reason!

If I could do zero stars I would. I have come into Dragonfly on 2 different occasions over the last 4 months and both times I have seen cockroaches!! The first time it was in the bathroom and I left immediately without even ordering a drink. The second time I came in to meet a friend and got a latte and saw another cockroach crawling on the counter near where you pick up a drink sleeve. My latte tasted so unbelievably burnt it was awful. I heard a new person getting trained by a man I assume is the boss and I overheard him tell the new employee they can use shots outside of the shot window??? No wonder the coffee tastes so bad if you have no quality standards. I see the owner replying to reviews of people who don’t like the coffee condescendingly saying that it’s because they use a dark roast, but I’ve had dark roast espresso before that actually tastes good. The whole shop just feels kind of dirty. A new cafe opened across the street called Lei Brilla and their sandwiches and salads are made fresh to order and their coffee actually tastes good with homemade syrups!! I can’t believe Dragonfly has passed a health inspection knowing there’s cockroaches crawling around. Won’t catch me there ever again

Marty was great! He explained the difference between the roast here and where I’m from. He was very polite and let me taste the roast espresso. The pistachio latte is delicious. Would definitely recommend!

The exact kind of coffeehouse I’m always looking for in a new city! The Dragonfly is inviting, well-decorated, and comfortable. There is plenty of (indoor and outdoor) seating, ample menu options, free wifi, and even a take one, leave one library toward the back. If you’re in a hurry or on a stroll with your pup, they have a walk-up window on the street for ordering, as well. They also host community events each month that are worth a visit, such as open mic night. Be sure to grab a punch card when you stop in—get a free drink for every 10 non-alcoholic beverages you purchase.

First time coming to this place on Thursday October 17, 2024. I tried their Pistachio Latte and Oatmeal Raisins cookie and omg it was absolutely delicious. You really have to try this place out if you are in the area.

Dragonfly is such a cozy little spot! The atmosphere in there is great and the drinks are made so well! My barista, Audra, made me feel so welcome as if I’d been going there for years. 10/10 recommend!

This is my favorite coffee shop in Portland. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. My go to is the dragonfly elixir. I love coming here to read during the week.
