Their fried catfish is amazing and reminds me of when I used to make it back home in Texas. They gave me a sample of their clam chowder and I had to order a bowl to go. I’ve wanted to line clam chowder since moving to Oregon and have tried it several places but haven’t cared for any of it, but their chowder was incredible! Definitely recommend.
This was my first time and oh I can't wait to go again!! Perfect batter and cook. Not gummy just a light crisp. I had the halibut and it was delicious. The fries were great too.
The Original Halibuts in NE PDX is seriously the best. It tastes just as fresh (if not more) than the coast. Seriously. The owner and his wife are super nice and they really seem to have THE best freshest halibut, cod, salmon, catfish, coconut shrimp, prawns.. They also make all of their own tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, coleslaw and clam chowder. And they seriously perfect everything! Best clam chowder! Everyone I’ve ever taken there agrees that it’s seriously the best spot...
