We had high hopes for this coffee spot, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet expectations. The coffee and pastries were just okay—nothing to write home about—but what really stood out was how slow and chaotic the service was.

During our visit, there was a long line, and it was clear the two baristas were overwhelmed. One of them—a woman with striking green eyes—ended up shouting at my mom when she approached the counter, mistakenly thinking a drink being called out was hers. Instead of calmly correcting the mix-up, she was scolded and told there were other orders ahead. Definitely not the kindest interaction. My mom also popped out of line for a moment to grab a muffin two feet away and someone behind the counter shouted at her claiming they did not see her standing in line where she previously was.

One suggestion: using customer names when calling out orders would avoid this kind of confusion and create a more welcoming environment. We get that it was busy, but kindness should never be the first thing to go when things get hectic.

The espresso was excellent, cute latte art and the male barista was lovely. Joint with the hotel so it’s super easy access for hotel guests.

burned milk for days. brought it almost to a boil, based on how it sounded and how long I had to air it before still but ing my tongue.

I had a wonderful time here yesterday! The breakfast bagels happened to be half off, so I got one, and they gave it to me piping hot. The soy latte was strong and good too. The baristas were both very friendly and helpful. Loved the atmosphere.

Connected to the Porter hotel, this is a great little spot for coffee, snacks, and some Portland-centric mixers and products.

We had a hazelnut latte and a white mocha with toasted marshmallow... Delicious!

Tomato soup was inedible. Had obviously been sitting for hours. Everything is expensive here…VERY friendly staff.

I grab coffee from here a lot and always enjoy it! Great staff who work hard and who make great coffees. The donuts are also very fun to try, as they typically try a new donut flavor each month. highly recommend, and it is a coffee spot that stays open later than others (I believe until 630pm?)

The food is fine, the coffee is fine, but the service was odd. The person taking our order was so flustered that they couldn't even get the words out. When a family member asked a simple question about an item in the case, the employee just stared for a few seconds before starting to yell, explaining that they needed to remember the order I had just placed. I understand that it can be difficult to remember orders before entering them, but their attitude was horrible, and I am very frustrated with the experience. If you go to the counter and see a person named Ralph, be aware that you might be yelled at over something related to your order.

Went for a coffee and ended up having one of their home made doughnuts - highly recommend.

Service was a little strange and slow. On the day we visited out of 10 orders they screwed up 7. Which they fixed, but it slowed things down.

Still the slow service wasn't a major issue if you weren't in a huge rush. Coffee and bits made up for it

Counter guy seemed flustered, messed up order for an undecided customer. Should have taken a breather. Finally switched spots with a coworker.
