It's one of the best bbq around! Anytime we go to the moda center, my wife and I share an entree. The portions are huge! I would highly recommend stopping here if you're nearby! We love the pulled pork and macaroni, but everything is so good there!

Honestly was really disappointed with the brisket, dry and tough. The pulled pork was alright but really fatty

The 1/2 lb. brisket was super delicious and reasonably priced at $17. I also ordered amazing Mac & Cheese for $5. While this is a food truck, they have a full bar with rotating ciders and IPA's
on tab with Sportsball on the T.V.

I have been here more than a dozen times and love and recommend this spot! Last visit on Saturday 4-26, they were out of my favorite side dish “Mac n cheese” then see another table get 2 sides of it , hmmm!

We were looking for something that sounded interesting for lunch to try out and decided to check this place out. We ordered a little bit of almost everything. The food was decent. The brisket was done nicely and the pulled pork wasn't too wet or soggy, which I like. The smoked sausage could use a bit more flavor. The mac and cheese was great. The person working there was friendly and got our food out to us in a reasonable time.

Super delicious!! Absolutely amazing brisket sandwich, brisket Mac n cheese and potato salad! Fantastic flavor & quality, the atmosphere for dinning inside or outside was awesome. I definitely will be eating here again! I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the mood for some good Texas style BBQ!

Placed an order for delivery and even received a confirmation email. An hour goes by without any notice only to discover my order was canceled without any notification. Tried calling the business 3 times with no success. This could be the best bbq in Portland and I still won’t try it. Customer service is equally as important in the food/hospitality industry and will ultimately cost them business.

I don't know what's going on but my brisket was tender but somehow one of the most dry briskets I've ever had... really disappointed after reading all the 5 star reviews. The chicken was dry too :( jalapeño pinto beans were very lackluster. Mac was alright). If you think this food is good, matts and bottos will blow your mind. Thumbs down for the smokin oak pdx 👎

Picky 5 year old approved. Loved the M&C w/pork. Wife and I were amazed at the quality of our food, and especially the service! They literally stayed open late for us. 😊

So far the worst BBQ experience.
Generous portion (definitely way over 1/2 pound), brisket is cooked and it wasn’t dry.
There was little to no smoke flavor, seasoning is lackluster.
Mac and Cheese has separated and you end up with hardened broken cheese covering dried out mac with pool of fat on the bottom. Again no salt.
Link was the worst part and after scrolling through the pictures it seems that pit master just don’t know how to smoke them and prep person don’t know how to make them. Absolutely dense fine grind, tastes powdery and dry. Some grill marks were present but there was no smoke flavor at all. Link possessed no snap at all, you can fold it in half because casing is barely cooked and not dried at all. This is the worst link in Portland right now.
The worst “pickled” veg in Portland: there was absolutely no salt and vinegar. Like white onions are just blanched in water? Red onions just blanched in pickling spice water? It had zero tang, zero salt and by that I mean NO SALT OR VINEGAR AT ALL. I’d prefer to eat raw onions instead of tasteless, stringy mess. Pickled cucs were ok, tasted like fridge burnt grillo pickles, gross but still better.
BBQ sauce is absolutely generic has zero body and no zing & pep - think Trader Joe’s.

Pure disappointment.
