I've heard good things about this place but I will have to go again and hope I have a better experience. I got avocado toast and the avocado was loaded with lime and face twisting amount of lime and topped with a crazy amount of green onion, that part was okay because I like onions but ALL I could taste was lime, I like lime but it was too sour to eat. The staff was also not very friendly. Since I've heard good things I will try it again and hope it was just a bad day.

I deliver food for Uber Eats and I have eaten literally every bowl around town. This was my first time eating at The Whole Bowl. Though I have delivered from there before I don't usually have time to stop and eat while I'm working. After the warm smells and the happy people as I was making deliveries I took the time to come back to get a bowl for myself. So glad I did. The sauce is so good and the price is $4.50 cheaper than the closest competitions bowl. There are a lot of bowls out there with the same combination of rice and beans, cilantro, black olives, sour cream, and avocado but they have the best sauce by far. And a big plus is that the serving size was big enough I have a little left over for a snack later.

I liked the bowl and they made it vegan for me but don’t order on doordash unless you have your own utensils because I asked them to include it and they did not so I had to eat it with a coffee stirrer I found in my hotel room.

Love their food but got bluntly hung up on. Asked to order, Micheal said “we don’t do phone orders” and I said ok, but proceeded to ask a question and he just hung up on me. Was very rude.

3 black people got into a small disagreement about who was in line first and were all immediately kicked out. not a very welcoming establishment for people who aren't white :/ this establishment isn't very understanding of other's cultures, especially when it comes to a minority that only makes up 5% of the population here in Portland. we were regulars at the whole bowl but not anymore.
