The Whole Bowl off N Vancouver Ave, great… this one, not so much. Today was the **third time** I showed up during posted biz hours and was given some excuse why I couldn’t be helped. Today’s experience left a particularly bad taste in my mouth because before choosing to go to this one, which was closer, I had to consider whether or not I would not get serviced again based on previous experience. I chose this one and was once again not serviced. “Sold out” was the excuse. I can understand you wanting to close up on time and get on with your life, but you gotta make a bowl if its during posted hours. Never happens to me at the N Vancouver store and the vibe of the staff there is much better.

I do not think the food is kept at appropriate temperatures when a specific person is working. I live in 5 blocks away and am regularly given lukewarm bowls with half a rotten avocado. Even the sour cream tastes like they just leave it out on the counter all day. I am a devout lover of Whole Bowl but there’s something wrong with this one.

It might seem like a simple task when the menu is basically onw thing buts its never just a bowl of food. Lena has turned my day around more times then I can count! Truly an absolute treat to get a meal here 🌿
