This bar is definitely a locals type of hangout anytime of day or night. The owner is a kind and friendly part of the experience. The Wishing Well would probably have more guests if the decor was updated. Sadly it looks dingy and to me dingy and dining don't go well together. They have video poker and an excellent juke box. It's likely if you are from St.Johns you will run into someone you know. I like this place mostly because I like the owner.

This was genuinely the worst food I’ve ever eaten in my entire career of eating. The waitress was nice.

This is an older building nothing fancy at all but it is very comfortable and if you like to gamble machines pay pretty good. Staff is friendly. Get good size portions of decent food. They keep the drinkers under control. Fun place to go!
