Consistent in my ExperienceI work downtown and with pandemic times, it's hard to find a good sandwich downtown these days.I have been so HAPPY with my past 3 orders at Theo's Deli. FAT chewy slices of bacon, good quantity of turkey, and consistent quality. Dagwood style.I like that you get to chose your bread type.I like that they know how to make a classic fat BLT with turkey without feeling the need to add a bunch of weird stuff. Good classic sandwiches.

Note, due to covid 19, Theo's is reopening in stages. At this time , July 2021, there is no onsite dining areas, Josh, the affable man that is working so hard to bring back our Old Town Portland favorite,, is starting off with website orders, then you can pick them up to go. Once all the Covid restrictions reach homeostasis, he plans to reopen the dining room, bring back the entire menu, and operating hours, but for now we can enjoy most of our favorites, check their website for the most up to date menu and services, soooo happy to have them back!!!!!

Located downtown just a couple blocks from Powell City of books, and right next to Ground Kontrol, this simple sandwich shop really does things well. Delicious hot Sandwiches, crispy fries and flavorful potato salad were all crowd pleasers. Great food, portions and prices make Theo's a delicious downtown destination.

They shut off the fryolator 45 minutes before close (but they make it seem like I should have known). They have a policy about taking your order to go 30 minutes before close but enforce it early (passive aggressively putting my "here" order in a bag). They treat you like everything wrong is your fault for daring to walk in their store. This place has good variety and fine value, but the food isn't good enough to justify the poor service. I'm done with this place.

This spot is a gem!! My husband and I go regularly for breakfast and Theo's has never disappointed. The house breakfast is my usual choice--2 eggs, bacon or sausage, hashbrowns, and toast for all of 5.00. The eggs are always perfectly cooked, they do my bacon extra crispy as requested, and the potatoes and toast the perfect accompaniment. My husband orders the waffle sandwich with sausage egg and cheese. It is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Along with the great food, the staff are amazing and make you feel welcome no matter how busy they are. Even when very busy the food is delivered in a short amount of time, and the inside of the restaurant is clean and inviting. Highly highly recommended!!!
