TOKYROLL Sushi & Poké - Terwilliger

Not sure how else to reach the owners for the Terwilliger Tokyroll but this place needs a deep cleaning, and a better routine cleaning. The floor is sticky and stained. The keyboard that orders are taken on is covered in food, aprons staff wear are filthy. Good food, but it’s difficult to like this place, when it seems ownership has given up on it. Sorry for the frank review, but really seems like that’s what’s needed to turn this place around.

It was some of the best sushi that my husband and I have tried recently! Very tasty combinations, fast serving and fresh ingredients! Definitely, we'll come back here again😍

New to the area. Ordered to go. Sushi was great, large generous portions and nice quality. Soy sauce was good, a small note but shows their level of standard. Chicken was dark meat, and $6? Crispy and nice portion size. An acidic sauce would be nice to pair it with. Overall a good value, and great experience.

Service was fast and friendly. Will be returning regularly.

This was my first visit.
Service: I placed an online order on Sunday afternoon to be picked up between 5:15-5:30. I arrived at 5:30 and it was clear that my order had not been started. I was told it would be 5 minutes but it took about 20 additional minutes before it was ready.
Food: Seemed like very good quality ingredients. Although you can "roll your own way", the online menu consists almost entirely of very "done up," hyper-Americanized sushi with lots of toppings and sauces. No simple, classic rolls or nigiri on the main menu. I found everything to be overly drenched in (yummy) eel sauce and spicy mayo. While it was delicious, it was also a gut bomb, not what I expect from sushi!
Upshot: Good, delicious food, will definitely try again but take deeper dive into menu, including bowls.

I came here primarily because of the good reviews, but wasn’t expecting much. This place is pretty unassuming from the outside and has almost a strip mall vibe, but the interior is nicely, decorated and quite clean. The food itself was also a welcome surprise, the portions were quite large for the price with fresh tasting and tasty ingredients. We will definitely be coming back here and recommend it.

Wow, just wow. I ordered a custom poke boll and the salmon roll. The poke bowl was sooo good, words can’t even describe. And you get soooo much food for such a good price. Seriously, I put half in my fridge for later that’s how much food I got. The salmon is high quality, the rice was warm and fresh, and the toppings were sooo good. I couldn’t reccomend a place more. Wow, just simply wow.

I have to admit I have only gotten the poke bowls here and not the sushi, but they are outstanding. They offer the option to make your own bowl, so you can ask them to put exactly what you want in it, and have only yourself to blame if it's not excellent. Fish is always fresh, sauces are great, and portion is generous.

The dark horse sushi roll is delicious. The salmon poke bowl was also good, but maybe include a spoon in the takeout order. Easier to eat than with chopsticks
