Recommended by a family member & ordered to go. It was pretty good but not as good as i expected. Maybe it was an off night or a bad time to go. Great service though. I'll go again to see.
I looked up this place before going and it advertised as a Mexican grocery store and also serving hot food to go. When I arrived there was no grocery store? But a small little restaurant. I ordered some carnitas tacos and a red pork tamale. The taco was really delicious with plenty of meat, but the pork tamale was so dry that it was hard to swallow. Maybe they were left out under the heat lamp a little too long. I’m still going to go back and try other things.

Update:
No better birria in southeast Portland! Usually top quality chile relleno, too. Also, sizable portions here - 1 burrito is nearly 2. Got the tinga plate last nite & was very happy.

This is the spot! Used to visit their old tienda in Gresham when the old folks ran it, before they retired. Still good!
