Fantastic espresso AND they are one of the only coffee shops around who are open in the evening. Come on, people, embrace coffee in the evening! A+
Not sure what this is. Total fail as a market, no place to enjoy your coffee no matter how good it may be. A solution in search of a problem.
Great coffee & staff!
good food
The vegan breakfast sandwich no longer exists. They have bagels and vegan cream cheese, and a couple Shoofly pastries.
This place is a dumpster on fire that’s floating down a river. Manifesting that they TERMINATE the management team because they have no clue what they are doing. Save yourself and just go to Taco Bell for food and and better service. You can tell the employees here are waiting for the rapture to take place.
Absolutely horrendous service here. Some places you wish you could have never walked into. This is definitely one of the worst. Terrible experience! Poor management style!
It's our anniversary today and they are randomly closed for the morning. We showed up and were pretty disappointed. They changed the entire concept from community space and coffee shop to like take out grocery? Whaaaaat? They still have space for seating, but on the benches it says "waiting area, take out only"... wtf. I'm pretty irritated. The new sign is nowhere near as cool as the old one, too. ?
I was pretty disappointed to try out this place after just moving to the Buckman neighborhood and likely won't be returning often if at all. It doesn't look like the pictures and lacks the seating that I thought was going to be available. It was also shocking to pay $40 for 2 basic coffees and 2 breakfast muffins that used no more than 3 ingredients between them. I'd rather take the longer trip to Henry Higgins to get the same or more for half the price. It was cool that they sold so many different items but there's no way I am going to spend $7 on Trix cereal that I can get at Safeway for $3. Just yet another coffee shop in Portland turned into some bougie place that is no longer accessible for us working class folk.
Though listed as a beer shop ( nice selection) surprised when Google also suggested this for breakfast. Had a nice coffee and vegan cheese bagel, sat on the seats outside (dont think anything inside) and it was a lovely light snack in a quiet part of town. Appreciate despite the limited menu there were vegan options, not every coffee shop I went to had much so thank you Triumph

The girl with nose rings and Dickies overalls is the only nice person who works here but she only works the shifts with less business. Come in after 3 and you'll have a great experience and a great coffee if you get one! I doubt she is paid well based on how slow it is so tip her well!! She deserves it!! The 1 star is because the woman who owns this place is a straight-up bully from what I've heard from people in the neighborhood who have dealt with her. Yiiiikes.
Only coffee shop open late. Great customer service, good coffee.
I've been to this place off and on for a couple of years now...the new layout is super cool and I HIGHLY recommend the pastries! Especially the ham and cheese croissant! ?
Used to be one of my favorite spots and I would go there once a week at least but they took out the seating and now there is no where to work, relax or talk with a friend. The loss of a queer friendly meeting space in the neighborhood is heartbreaking. We don't have any need for a high-end convenience store with both MoC and Plaid Pantry in the area. This move just seems bizarre.
