Edit after owner response: mimosa was weak, after it finally arrived. Twas a very long time to get some o.j. ;) Anyone who opens a business in downtown Pdx obviously has courage & heart, but I still feel bad for that staff. <3
Understaffed. Took ages to get one mimosa because only one person is behind the bar making drinks + taking orders + helping serve food. :-/ I’m done with all my Spanish lessons and drink just arrived
Was closed, google said they were open. No note on door or anything to inform of closure
Atmosphere; This place is what your out-of-town friends and family think of when they think of a, "Downtown Portland spot". As a local, this is not it. This city has far more heart than this.
Service; They provide two services. The kitchen cooks the food, and then a server will drop it off. They aren't hosting, they aren't guiding you to a table, they aren't checking in on you and they aren't clearing your table. The QR code menu stuff has never been good IMO for many reasons.
Food; My food was tasty. I ordered the breakfast crepe. My table also ordered a sweet crepe. They served mine on a normal plate. They served the sweet crepe on a tiny wooden board, that was not even the width of my palm. Hard to cut the food and basically impossible to move the food on the board. You also can't really maneuver the board on the table cause it's long and rectangular.
This board fiasco really adds to my prior claim that this spot is for tourists. Serve my breakfast on a damn plate, please.

delicious crêpe and cider!
oat milk latte didn’t really fit my taste buds. oat milk isn’t integrated into the espresso well. also, the smoke from the kitchen was strong and it was stick to our skin and clothes after we left the restaurant :/
now we’re missing the crêpe! should have ordered another sweet one. definitely will visit again next time when we’re in portland!

This place is so adorable and comfy, and their food delicious! Can't wait to return. I'm still dreaming about their Hangover Crepe days later -- so good.
Ordering was challenging for us technically challenged folk. They allowed grandma to order in person at the counter. Otherwise it’s an app. It’s sorta cafeteria style eating. You order, you get your coffee, etc. the food was amazing. So different. I didn’t feel guilty eating here. The food was very protein based and satisfying without that sick I ate too much feeling. I will definitely be back. Also the prices were still reasonable. Bidenomics has hit many restaurants hard. This was still reasonably priced.

This was the first restaurant we ate in during our trip to Portland and it was a fantastic start to our Portland experience. Everyone's food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and staff were friendly.

The place itself is very nice, and the staff is friendly. As for the food – the fillings are great, and the presentation is good, but the pancakes… They’re very dry, with too much flour. Guys, I think you should reconsider the recipe for your base… The toppings saved the situation, but unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.
