This place is an ABSOLUTE TREASURE!! The banh mi is some of the tastiest I’ve ever had at the best price I’ve ever seen. Phuoc, the nun who runs the cart, speaks very little english but is the sweetest person in the world. She takes her time making each dish one by one and while you’re waiting you can sit or walk around the beautiful temple that the cart is connected to. Whether you’re vegan or not, I highly recommend making this spot a regular visit!!
Wow, 5$ Banh Mi. That’s such an incredible bargain. It was super yummy, too. The carrots and daikon were sweetly pickled and the fresh coriander and jalapeños added a nice touch. Was reminiscent of Vietnam big time. But several and eat later. :)
There are many vegetarian dishes to choose from. Cheap price. We bought Bread and 2 glasses of Sugarcane juice. The bread is very delicious. Sugarcane juice of course tastes a little different than in Vietnam, as not fresh cane is available here. It's sunny for a reason that sugarcane juice is best for me. The only thing was that the wait was a bit long, even though there were very few people when we went to buy.
