Wow, don’t you love unexpected gems you stumble upon? Hit up the grocery outlet on 121st & Division and typed in vegan near me. I found the best vegan bann mi I’ve had in Portland! Vietnamese iced coffee with coconut milk, tofu spring rolls, and a fried tofu bang mi for $15.58. Sweetest person working and a very cool location! Give them some love!!!
This place is great. I think it’s all vegan except for possibly having condensed milk as an option for coffee.
It’s in a Buddhist temple with a pretty courtyard.
The food is tasty and portions are generous. For $30, which included a 20% tip, two of us ate and still had leftovers.
This location supports a small Vietnamese Buddhist Temple with only two monks. As far as I know it is all vegan including the bread and the food is also sensitive (Allium) free. Some of the condiments are not but the food is. I think the food is very good.
