Awesome experience (only because of the bartender). Em, the bartender was fantastic. She was so kind and knowledgeable of the drink and food menu. She was also so good that she got us bar patrons to speak to each other as well. I love the atmosphere she created. Shes a grade A employee and I hope you pay her what she deserves! Her personality and love of her job shows so much. I only had one drink and was so impressed with Em. Give that lady a raise and hold on to her!

Don’t waste your layover on fast food, come here instead! Located in the Alaska Airlines Terminal, Vino Volo is a gem for travelers. Exceptional service from start to finish. Cozy yet pleasant atmosphere with flexible seating to fit all preferences. For airport dining, this is a must-visit!

Braised Short Ribs – $31: Staff recommended, precooked and reheated to perfection. I’m still in awe of how tender they turned out!

Tomato Bisque – $7: Soup of the day, beautifully balanced in both taste and texture, not overly creamy or too tomato-heavy.

Filling enough for a pre-flight meal. If you’re a wine lover, their membership is worth exploring.

Always a good stop. I actually learned they have a rewards program which is pretty cool so if you don't know about that, you could definitely sign up.

Emmett was so knowledgeable and his wine recommendations were on point. Had a great time for two hours of my terrible layover.

Emmett & Julia were GREAT. On top of taking care of all patrons throughout the space. C ru friendly and service oriented.

I had a small pizza and wonderful tomato basil soup. The flights are always interesting, good options. I enjoy Vino Volos in general, often excellent service.

The atmosphere was an easy 5 star…until a woman sat next to ma and yapped loudly on her phone about her amazing condo (“I mean, you’d be so jealous!”). Not at all the locations fault, they cannot control the rudeness of others (the family behind her promptly left). Recommendation: Respectful signs on the tables “Please limit phone calls to 2 minutes or less out of respect for other patrons” or something. People don’t need to be on their phones everywhere.

Attempted to order a glass of wine before a long flight… the waiter assisted everyone but me, then I finally asked if I could order, never brought my glass was too busy chatting and cleaning glasses to pour mine. I waited 10 minutes then walked away.

The food was awful, full of oil and greasy. I was charged $4 for the ham which I could not eat because of the olive oil on top. The servers were super nice tho.

Delicious food in a lovely environment. I nearly sheered off because it said it was a wine bar, and I was on the clock, but we decided to try it anyway. I'm glad we did. Super fast service, and the food was luxurious: a homemade tomato bisque and a prosciutto and melted cheese sandwich with fig jam. Filling and not too much food. Perfect.

Young girl was cold and indifferent after she watched me sit down, she ignored me. After reading the menu I figured out why. This is a very turned up nose, over priced place - $29.00 for one glass of wine at the grungy Portland airport no less! Last time I paid $29.00 for a glass of wine it was a top the Eiffel Tower. VERY overpriced for Portland and so not worth it!
