Westward Whiskey - PDX Airport Tasting Room

I didn't go to the tasting room itself, but encountered the satellite stall on the way to my gate! I didn't catch the name of the gentleman working there, but it was around 6pm on Saturday, November 1st.
He was very helpful, super friendly, and knowledgeable about the product! He made the wait for my flight a lot more bearable - the whiskey helped too.
Hoping to check out the distillery on my next trip to Portland!

We stopped on a whim and fell in love! Nate provided amazing service, was very knowledgeable and described each cocktail perfectly. The cocktail flight was fire! Stop here while you're waiting for your flight. It won't disappoint.

Olivia was absolutely amazing!!! I’m not a whiskey drinker at all. I’m not even that fond of alcohol in general, but she made the whole whiskey flight experience with a chocolate flight so interesting and cool. My opinion of whiskey has definitely changed, and I loved this experience so much. It was free with my priority pass but I would have happily paid for this experience as well.

I popped in to see if I could grab a bottle to take with me at PDX. When I walked in the guy greeted me, there was one person there tasting and another worker. I spent a fair bit of time walking around looking at stuff, even walked right by the till but the staff was too busy chatting with each other to see if I needed anything. I wouldn’t have needed anything at all (except maybe checkout) if there were prices on the whisky in the store. Literally everything else has a price BUT the bottles. And when I did two complete, slow passes and the staff continued to ignore me, I just left.

Brooklyn was a breath of fresh air in a morning of delayed flights and holiday traffic. We shared a refreshing conversation about life and purpose while I got to try some awesome Westward whiskey. I live in SE and I can’t wait to make it to the distillery when I get back! Thanks Westward and esp Brooklyn for being so helpful and chill.

Always fun to try some interesting whiskey cocktails when passing through PDX. They have a nice selection of bitters, glassware, bar accessories, and a mix of 750ml and 375ml packaged Westward Whiskey options.

They were out of cocktails when we visited, so their menu was limited to the whiskey flight, which was disappointing but at least the spirits are good!

This might be the only place in the airport to get a glencairn glass full of whiskey. It’s a fabulous way to get ready to fly out. Tasters and flights. Perfect for picking up whiskey and cocktail fixings for your trip!

Stopped by tonight 9/21 at 835p for a tasting/flight.Only to be impolitely greeted by female employee (clearly on her cell phone btw)“No flights, as we are closing up shortly”Your Website clearly states closing time is 10p. Help me understand how this makes sense.I sat, and observed that she was not in fact closing up shortly, and served a customer after.iRecommend coaching employee to be better at their job by asking open ended questions and complying with cell phone policy.I was actually wanting to purchase a bottle for my friends wedding, guess I’ll visit the ABC store back east.
