I come here with my French expat group. Haven't tried the food yet, but the service and the drinks are great. We're a biggish group and there's always plenty of space to move around and feel comfortable. I like the outdoor space especially. It's spacious but feels cozy as well.

Really?? 25% tip for no table service!!... You have to go to the bar order your own food pick it up yourself and they still expect that kind of tip. Come on!!! The place itself is actually great though good food cold beer fun crowd and chill vibes It’s a cool spot to hang out with friends and enjoy the night but that 25 percent tip option just doesn’t make sense when you’re basically doing all the work yourself

Very cute bar, very spacious, has a pool table, outdoor seating, there was a dj playing music so you were able to dance. The food and drinks were great! Will definitely come back again. They also have a Photo Booth !

I came to White Owl Social Club for a TaborDance event. There was no cover for the event. It was safe and fun. Hearing protection was provided by DanceSafe. The outdoor patio was crowded but people were actually dancing and having fun. I can’t speak for a regular Friday night, but I would recommend them if you’re going to a TaborDance event.

NOT wheelchair friendly what so ever, if you are in a wheelchair, so can't even get to the stalls, which none of the stalls are for those with disabilities, all very thin. Had to tell staff so I can enter and exit the place through the emergency exit 😑 they were very sweet though. I had called to ask about restrooms and entrance of it was really wheelchair friendly and they said yes...also no real wheelchair sitting, it's booths and picnic tables. Sucked to feel less included and in the way.
I will say, other than entrance and bathroom, and if I wasn't in a wheelchair, it was a very nice place, staff were really sweet, lots of room here, outdoor space is lovely, and has a good vibe.

This place was pretty chill. I didn't try the food, but was the drinks were nice. The outside seating was spacious. Only major downside is the long lines to get a drink. Not because the staff weren't working hard (they were!) but I think the additional bartenders were scheduled to come on later than they should have been and were in immediate damage control.
It was a nice place on a shady looking street, but that's Portland for you lol.

It was my man’s bday yesterday. Thought we could go dance and just grab a drink (we’ve had a good time in the past) was treated with the utmost disrespect at the door. No, not disrespect…I felt suddenly like I was a mother to mentally ill children..simply asked if we could get a good deal for his bday and rather than answering my question both guys at the door ignored my question and treated me like I was entering an insane asylum. I was ready to be told ‘no’ but it was such negative disrespectful energy, I will never go back again. I can’t believe people like this actually work at the white owl. Used to love it, but WOW. Will never recommend to anyone. Stay away!!
Great space with a really awesome outdoor space and picturesque bar area. Outside has a great covered setup for live music and socializing around a fire pit. The bathrooms and DJ’s are what brings this place down. I’ve been here probably 10-15 times, and maybe twice the music was dialed in. It’s a Really great bar when busy, could be great if the DJ’s were more consistent.
