The food was fantastic, a true smash burger that spills over the edge of the bun. Great overall flavor, very fast service, and the atmosphere was super chill. Parking under the bridge was near impossible, however half a block from the restaurant around the corner we found parking on the street.

The food here is consistently delicious! Everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. Whether you're trying a classic dish or something new, the quality and flavor never disappoint. A great spot to satisfy your cravings and enjoy every bite!

Wolfs Head delivers the ultimate comfort food experience! Their cheese curds are perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, and the malted shakes are rich, creamy, and come in classic flavors. The curly fries are seasoned just right and amazing. Great spot!

What a spot! Get your body ready for deliciousness. Make your way to the other side of the tracks for this unassuming burger and malts shop in SE Portland. We ordered the classic cheese and the chili cheese burger with curly fries and two shakes: a salted caramel and and olive oil + sea salt. Everything was 10/10, right down to the fry sauce, and freshly-made. For the price, it would be nice if the burgers and malts were a bit larger, but we were completely satisfied and loved our experience here.

Found this place online as a recommendation for burgers. Burgers were delicious, just not a fan of that Franz bun, but still a very excellent smash burger! The cheese curds were nice as well good amount of crunch and salt and the deluxe curly Fries were just what we were looking for in terms of a dirty meal! Malts were a good thickness and not too sweet.

The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the woman who was taking our order. It was a first time as out of towners to visit this place and we had a few questions about the menu. She seemed annoyed to answer our questions.

I can't comment on the atmosphere, I got mine to go. The burger: holy expletive that is a good burger. The waitress was friendly but that burger ? was chef's kiss. I will probably add photos next time.

Smashed burger simplicity with a Bob’s Burgers inspiration.

Place is cool, awkward to get to, awkward to sit at, but generally delicious.

If you want a thick pub style burger? Not your place.

If you want smashed patties, American cheese, and a “humble,” bun? This is your place.

The real winner is the double deluxe. It is close to my personal ideal for a “perfect,” cheeseburger.

The fun part, are the rotating burgers, which I think change monthly? Or weekly? Sometimes it’s chicken, sometimes it’s a burger variant but it’s charmingly reminiscent of Bob’s Burgers “Burger of the Day.” Of course, sourcing ingredients for a different unique burger every day is not sustainable so they keep it to monthly, or weekly? I think it’s monthly =)

Downsides? The place is physically awkward. The chairs at the bar seating are too short, and they only have space for a few tables.

And the bun sucks sometimes, but that’s not why you’re going to this place. You’re going to this place for a reasonably priced, consistent burger, shakes, fries, and cheese curds. And that rotating burger recipe which can be hit or miss, but mostly hits.

Great spot to put in your rotation if you’re ever near the Central Eastside neighborhood.

Drink shakes could be way better if you added real Strawberries. Food in general was good.
