This is a great space. There is a lending library, you can rent rooms for free if you need a spot for a game or meeting. The taplist is great, not IPA heavy;a good mix of European and American styles.

This is my favorite place in Portland. I love the open mics, the trans community events, the potlucks, and the openness of the space. Every time I walk in, I feel welcome. The worker-owners are caring and kind people. The giraffe is definitely a fun added touch - but my favorite part of the Tap is definitely the community. This place has singlehandedly motivated me to stay in Portland.

Great bar. But the giraffe can be a little menacing

I have only been here a few times but since I have been here it has been a great time. The drink options are a bit limited to somebody who isn't super into beer but everything else including the giraffe is great. The reading room upstairs is nice as well and very comfy. The music nights are very cool too. Plus they have RC cola so that is good. I recommend the vibe to anybody.

Great vibes. Good tap list. Will definitely go again.
It was a cold December evening, and the outdoor seating was as packed as the indoor seating.

First time here with our work crew got a beer. Nice atmosphere casual comfortable. Service was at the counter you order first and pay first. Then you're presented with your order. Then you have to find a seat that might be available or might not.

Great coffee
We tried the latte, matcha, and chai here and they were all so delicious and creamy. I especially loved the chai. The staff here are so nice and are very good baristas.

Great place if you're not a dick head. As a Latina leftie: the boring, frustrating white American lefty bullshit seems a lot better controlled than most places

I went for the first time for the Trans open mic night. This was before I heard of all the uncool things they are doing. (Supporting the genocide in Palestine). I had 0 prior knowledge about this place before going. I went with a friend of mine.
Wheelchair accessibility: Single entrance to the basement for mobility challenged people. I almost fell down the very narrow stairs with my walking stick. The building seems to be an old construction house converted into a bar. The stairwell, landing and entrance are of a bygone age. They are not to current code and if you are any sort of mobility challenged, the only option is the outside entrance which is going to be hell come winter.

This place was very dirty when I came. Trash was overflowing. Tables were dirty. I wouldn't go back.
