Authentic taste. Approved from my Japanese Friends who came to work in USA.Friendly staff, a little small area but it’s cute and takes me to Japan. They gave us free candy too.

We were blown away by the flavor of the ramen. It was absolutely amazing and authentic, just as good as any good ramen you could have in Japan. The chicken karaage was also pretty impressive— tender and juicy. This would be on our recommendation list for people craving for ramen in Portland.

Wu-Ron’s is just objectively the best. My wife and I go basically on a weekly basis, and this has been the case since they opened a couple years ago. Everything is super consistent, broth is always perfectly balanced. Usually, when I get ramen at various places, I can’t finish the broth because it’s too much, like the salt adds up or it just becomes too rich. Not the case at Wu-Ron’s, I always finish everything. The pork and noodles are also consistently perfect, and the family that runs it is the nicest ever. It truly feels like home, and if I move away from Portland, this is the place I will miss the most.

Do you see the full five star reviews of this place? It’s there for a reason. Most good restaurants have a four point something rating. Wu-Rons has earned the *full five.*Is a delicious? Yes. Is the atmosphere on point? Yes.More importantly, is the service exceptional, like the type of place that remembers your order and kindly greets you after you’ve been away for a while? Absolutely yes.Get over here - you won’t regret it.

Excellent ramen quality broth and options. The service reminded me of the humility and great care of a Japanese family run business. It was a pleasure to meet the owners too. Arigato!Vegetarian options: The veggie ramen with tofu ??Dietary restrictions: Lots of options including vegetarian.Parking: Parking on and near the street.

Great service, delicious Ramen. I have to go back and try more things on the menu, but I am motivated after that first meal!

We just had the strangest dining experience. Our friend who normally tips cash at the end of the meal, didn't tip at the register and was told aggressively that because they didn't tip, they would have to grab their food from the counter. They then proceeded to get the rudest service I've seen in person, while we got normal service. It was as if we were being used to show what could have been if they had tipped. My experience and meal was ruined as half our table was treated rudely in front of us as we ate. This is ironic as people who tip cash do so as it benefits the server.

Hands down best Ramen in Portland. Brings back my memories in southern Japan in the first sip. Not in the most convenient area but worth the trek out there. Plus the teas are worth a try as

What can I say but WOW the ramen is phenomenal! I had the Sapporo Miso ramen (sans bamboo shoots with extra green onions) and it was absolutely amazing. It has ground chicken in it which I love (because extra protein) and the chashu is probably the best I’ve had in Portland. It’s grilled to perfection. I have had a lot of ramen in Portland and this is definitely my favorite right now. I’ve heard great things about their Tonkatsu as well.最高だと思う!Kid-friendliness: They have kid sized ramen bowls (a major plus for parents because you rarely see this!).
