XinhXinh Vietnamese Bistro

Friendly counter service restaurant next door to Lilla with many clearly labeled vegan dishes. They serve a vegan meat substitute called “Tork” which tastes more delightful than it sounds. Food quality is very good, but the dining room feels like an afterthought. And, whenever someone opens the door, which happens a lot, all the heat escapes. I’d recommend this restaurant for takeout in a heartbeat, but would wait for warmer weather to dine in.

We had the ground “tork” vermicelli bowl and the chicken breast banh mi with curry sauce - both were excellent!! Definitely coming back to try the steam buns. The service was also fantastic - the nice gentleman at the counter was very attentive

Vietnamese people are known for their incredible hospitality and this place lives up to that reputation 100%. The person behind the counter was so friendly, polite, and courteous! Plenty of options for vegetarians and the Vietnamese hot coffee was excellent. I definitely recommend the BBQ Tork (vegan pork) banh mi 😊

SURPRISE!!! We visit from LA and my bf is southeast Asian. He approves. Very generous portions as well. I kept picking out pork from my bowl to my bf’s and it just would not run out. Give five star to Portland as well if this is the how good ethnic foods the city has to offer.

Have walked past this place many times but finally visited as I was craving a banh mi and it did not disappoint! The banh mi, salad rolls, and potstickers came out fast, and everything was perfect. The guy at the counter was bubbly, friendly, and attentive, made sure we had what we needed, and made the whole experience so friendly and fun. Awesome spot!

I ordered through DoorDash, and the food was still amazing, even after it's journey through heavy traffic on it's way to me. I had the pulled pork banh mi and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The banh mi was perfect! The bread had a nice crust and the inside was soft and fresh---not soggy. Ingredients were fresh and perfectly distributed. The iced coffee was the *best* Vietnamese iced coffee I have found in Portland. I will definitely order from them again, and hopefully I'll have a chance to eat there in the future.

I feel confident that anything you get here is going to be amazing!!!

One of the best banh mi I've ever had in Portland or Seattle. Lots of meat, lots of cilantro, not dry, good amount of pickled carrots and daikon, good amount of jalapeno and the bun fits it all so it's easy to eat. I'm a banh mi conisour and this is my perfect sandwich.

This food is AMAZING!! I love the vegan BBQ tork and the vegan Thai iced tea. These are things that are hard to get vegan otherwise, and XinhXinh does an incredible job. Ive been here several times, and this last time I took my family, and my mom (who is generally picky eating out) was a HUGE fan. I hope to be back many many more times:)

The beef broth is above average for Portland and that's saying something. Could have used more tppings, but the flavor & texture of the beef pho made up for it. Seriously deep flavor to the broth...
