Stopped in an was immediately greeted and provided some water. I went with the lamb kabob plate, and it was delicious. The portions are large, and the meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I grabbed a baklava on my out, and am sure glad I did. While it's packaged up, it tasted fresh and was a perfect end to the meal.
True story: A recent conversation with friends turned to favorite restaurants. We were recalling our favorite Lebanese restaurant only to discover we were all three referring to the same one! Ya Hala is a delight to this Middle Easterner (as well as to my non-Middle Eastern friends). Everything is fresh and prepared with care. From the rice to the meat to the baba ganoush 👌🏻
We love Ya Hala! It's an informal eatery where you walk up to the counter, order food, and take a number to your table. It's more fun to eat family style, passing dishes around so everyone gets variety. Great vegan, vegetarian and GF options.
