This is the best Thai food in Portland. Short rib and payaya salad combo is literally the best/tastiest/best value deal in town. So many delicious daily specials alongside my standard Pad Thai order, it doesn't get better than Zaap. Service is amazing and the owner greets you each time you eat. Best customer service in town -Anurit and Paul are the best! This is my wife's favorite meal and place to eat!

Was working late and picked up a togo order Pad Se Ew with tofu. The staff was great and called me when my order was ready for pickup. Food was delicious. The restaurant looked really cute for the short time of was there. I will be coming back to try more.

This place is a true hidden in plain view gem. Portland is blessed with amazing choices for Thai food, but this place is my new #1. The flavor and quality of the food alone could put this at the top, but the options, authenticity, preparation, and presentation all enhance the perfectly balanced, exceptionally spiced, incredible delicacies that absolutely transport you to this region of the world. In addition to that, service was quick and super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and comfortable. The entire experience is one perfect package. Zaap Thai offers some of the best vegan-friendly Thai food in the city. It's a bonus that the family is so kind & welcoming, & that the prices are as budget-friendly as they are. My favorite dishes are usually the stir-fries, though I've yet to have a less-than-above-average dish from them since they opened. Their tempeh is excellent! Thanks, Zaap Thai!

Just recently discovered ZAAP and I am obsessed. Extremely friendly, incredibly affordable, and knowledgable in making the dishes vegan. I could eat out here multiple times a week (and lately I have been). Their Hawaiian fried rice is my favourite, with extra tofu and pineapple. I highly recommend to my vegan friends. The only downside is I’ve only been able to order pick up, I haven’t found a way to deliver it.Vegetarian options: Dishes can be made vegan upon request; I don’t have to explain to them what vegan is.
