Good beer and very limited food but geeze, I understand it's not a typical town but the food is expensive! 1 small SLICE of pizza is $11 and a pretzel is $17! That's insane.
When it's the only place open (no on mountain, service, dining hall closed), one assumes the food in the Beer Stube will at least be edible. We ordered a pretzel and two servings of chicken strips with fries. The fries were inedible and the chicken was overcooked to the point of sawdust. The fact that the bartender who took the order, took less than 2 minutes before handing the food across the bar, indicates that this food had been sitting there for some time. Very disappointing and sad because the atmosphere is awesome.
Good beer. Food - none on premises. Food truck nearby that you can bring in.

Sooooooo Yuuuuumy! Yes sir
Kid-friendliness: Ohhhh Yes
Best nachos on the mountain, so huge! They have affordable prices and the view off the deck is great watching people on the rope tow park. The day time lady bartender is super friendly and efficient. Only problem is some of the food runners are shy and instead of yelling out numbers they run through the busy crowd with food looking rushed. It's a loud bar, don't be afraid to speak up.
Get hammered and hit the slopes
Don't order from the bitchy brunette. She makes terrible drinks and is rude :) She is also slow.
