Sushi Bars in Roseburg

“Was our favorite place for sushi in Salem. Stopped in on our way home from California. It was just as delicious as remembered. Wish they were closer!!“

“We stopped in Roseburg on our way home from Eureka and decided to try this restaurant because I like to sample sushi everywhere I travel. It did not disappoint.

The atmosphere feels like a step back in time in the best way. It’s comfortable, informal, and full of character. From the outside, and even inside, it looks a little worn, but that only added to its charm. It feels like a place that’s been serving good food for a long time.

The service was friendly and helpful from start to finish. We ordered the salmon sashimi, a sushi combo, and a salmon salad, and everything was fresh and excellent. Plus, larger servings than I typically see. I don’t usually mention the tea in reviews, but the jasmine tea deserves it. Most restaurants brew it fairly mild, but this one had a richer, fuller flavor that was outstanding.

As we were leaving, the sushi chef thanked us warmly. I realized afterward that I forgot to tell him how much we enjoyed the meal, so hopefully this review lets him know how much we appreciated it.“
