The food was overall fine. I wouldn't write home about any dish. We started with the pan seared gyoza which are typically in my experience served with a sudachi dipping sauce, but not here. The gyoza themselves were good, but I think sauce would be a good addition. We also had a variety of ramen around the table most of which was pretty decent. I had the tan tan ramen pictured above. Having lived in Japan and eaten many different kinds of tantanmen, I was very surprised by the flavor of this dish. It was unlike any other tantanmen I have had. It had little to no sesame paste flavor nor soy milk. Additionally, the ground pork could have been more generous. The flavor was overwhelmingly chilli oil. It tasted okay in its own right, but I might suggest changing the name because I do not think it is representative of the dish served. Some people at the table had the gyudon bowls which were similarly skimpy on the meat for the price.
The service was good, no issues there.
The atmosphere was mostly good. The venue was clean and stylish. The only negative there was they didn't play any music.
Delicious and reasonably priced food. Good and quick service as well. The Ramen especially is wonderful, especially on a chilly fall or winter day.
Just had one of the worst experiences going here. The service was bad. I order then wait like 40 min see an order on the table no one picks up or checks up then eventually try to give me food that’s been sitting there for like 30 min while I’ve been present waiting. Offer to remake it then make me wait another 30 min. Don’t offer any compensation or anything. Then they forgot my chili sauce on my gyoza. Terrible service. Food is good but handled very poorly. Over an hour to get food. Not even an apology. The person that took my order even tried to get me to pay again.
Best in town
Love their ramen, especially the spicy miso. It hits all the right flavors. Have dined in and gotten delivery now. Eating there is a little better so you get it piping hot. But the flavor is great either way!
This place is phenomenal! The atmosphere is cute and cozy, service was nice but quick, and food was delicious. Chicken Katsu was great, Mala spicy shoyu ramen was amazing as well! We stuffed ourselves full, and will certainly be returning here!
Probably went at the wrong time of the day but the ramen tasted and looked like it was just reheated. The noodles where sticked. Very uncomfortable seating, was given attitudes for wanting to sit anywhere we wanted instead of near the windows. Maybe sales are going down but it was a bit of a depressing experience. It hwa beautiful Japanese decoration tho. The takoyaki was delicious.
Best ramen in Salem

Food was good!
Food was amazing and super fast. Staff was very attentive and polite. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
I’ve been to this place many times never been disappointed, I ordered chicken yakisoba today for the first time after it took almost 30 mins, it was beyond edible. I took 2 bites and gave it back to the server. She went on to still put it on our tab, I paid 15 for a plate I took two bites from. Never will this place get another dollar from me.
The ramen was alright, though it didn’t feel quite as authentic as some other places I’ve been to. The broth and noodles were okay, but something was missing in terms of depth and traditional flavor.
That being said, the portion size was good, and the prices were reasonable, making it a solid spot for a casual ramen fix. The service was great, with friendly and attentive staff, which added to the positive experience.
If you’re looking for a comforting bowl of ramen in Salem, this is a decent option, but if you’re after true, traditional Japanese ramen, you might find it a bit lacking.
Try their Black garlic ramen and their pork buns. Absolutely fire. 💯
I would come here for the food mostly. Or if you want someplace quiet to eat.
