Casual, friendly, delicious. We eat here very often and love that it's open late on Fri and Sat.

Told my server there was a bug in my water and she acted like that was normal. Said almost nothing and just brought me a new water, but refilled it with the same pitcher. Gross

I just picked up lunch for my office meeting. I ordered. Teriyaki chicken plate and the chicken is super dry. I took a big bite of chicken and rice only to spit my food out. There was a giant bone/gray hair in my food. I have black hair and no one else in my office touched the food so it’s definitely from this place. It was a larger order and I had to make two trips to get it all out and by the time I got back to my car, I was getting a parking ticket. There was no offer of helping me take my large order. Not that it’s required but my office has these monthly meetings we get food for and at every place I’ve been I’m agitated ordered assistance. I definitely will not be eating my food that had hair in it. I’m not left with a feeling of wanting to throw up thanks to the hair

I love this place. I love their soy eggs. They are the best soft boiled eggs I have ever had in my entire life. Mind blown. Don't order them. Save them all for me. They add them to the ramen bowls, but I'll buy them straight.

As a vegetarian family with some family members needing to be gluten free for celiac, the options are very limited, but who needs options when the one thing you are coming for is really good ramen. We host Japanese students, and when they get homesick, we bring them here.

Had an absolutely amazing bowl of ramen at AKAI Ramen. The broth was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor without being too heavy. The pork was tender, the marinated eggs were perfectly jammy, and the fresh toppings brought everything together beautifully. Even the seaweed was crisp and fresh. You can tell a lot of care goes into every bowl here. Comfort food at its finest definitely a spot worth coming back to. 🍜

Best veggie ramen and broth that I've had- normally I leave with a to-go container but not this time. Affordable, perfect amount of ramen for a meal, very cute interior, kind and VERY effcient staff.

Let me start out by saying that the food was very good. I was visiting Salem, OR and I think this was about the only restaurant open past 10 pm so they were slammed. Our food came out piece meal so some of us were nearly done with our meal when others were just being served. Also a man came in and dropped his backpack and walked out. He came back in took some food off of a table that had not been bussed yet, picked up his back pack and walked out which was interesting.
That all said I would go back to eat there.

Super friendly staff, really good food and very generous portions. I have just one complaint: the sauces they serve with their appetizers, sweet chili, teriyaki etc are way too small. Rather than a small bowl or dish like most restaurants they serve the sauces in very tiny little paper cups. They serve an appetizer of six really good spring rolls that comes with enough sauce for two spring rolls, three at most if lightly dipped. They’re way too skimpy with the sauces, but otherwise a really good restaurant.
