Hands down the best Mediterranean food in Salem! And if you can't eat gluten or dairy this is the place for you. Even with special diets their food is so amazingly good and exotic. But be warned you will want to know a bit about Mediterranean food or have someone with you that knows it because this loving couple that runs this restaurant speaks with a very heavy accent so you will need to know what you want or at least like before you go. If I were given a choice of only 2 restaurants I could eat from in Salem and no other this would be one of them. Oh and so quick to get your food that is all hand made I mean come on!
The food is excellent here, the service was very good, and the atmosphere is good.From here I've gotten the hummus, tabouleh, and the lamb shawarma gyro on different occasions. I recommend them all.

The food is amazing! We had lamb shanks with okra on basmati rice, ground lamb with salad and basmati rice, and a big bowl of lentil soup.It’s a tiny mom-and-pop place with old photos from the Mideast on the walls. The owners were present; the lady appears to do all the cooking, as well as taking orders and cashing out. There were two TVs on, one turned to Arabic news and the other with a hockey game. The table perhaps hadn’t been wiped as thoroughly as I would have wished, but it could have been the light, too. Those two things are why I downgraded the place a little. We definitely plan on going back.

The food was good, but it is NOT gluten free! The rice contains tiny chopped up egg noodles, I didn't realize until I had eaten several bites. I would not have thought that a rice dish contained wheat, but apparently this is a traditional style. Fellow GF persons beware!

We were so disappointed. Food was way, way overcooked. Think lamb jerky and freeze dried chicken. The restaurant was filthy and the bathroom was worse. We won't be going back.

Had lunch for the first time today and the food is so delicious. Definitely coming back for lunch again. I had the chicken shawarma rice plate and everything was amazing. I also got a piece of baklava and it is the best.
So delicious! Both the chicken shwarma plate and lamb kebsa plates were superb. Tadziki sauce has big chunks of cucumber, kebsa rice perfectly spiced, lamb super tender. Huge portions at great prices. Only downside was seemingly microwaved?? falafel, not at all crispy, but we still ate them. Definitely one of our new spots.

This is one of those places where you would walk by several times until someone told you about it - I am telling you this food was GREAT some of the best Mediterranean food I have eaten - this is will be one of our goto's from now
The Shawarma and the rice are so good. My lamb gyro was perfect. This family is always so friendly and gracious.
