My family and I waited for 35min for food and when I asked for a refund, they told me it would be 5 more minutes and that my food was already cooking…. It’s good food but not worth paying restaurant prices for and/or waiting for.

The rice was dry and tasteless. Looks were deceiving. The steak was ok - the salsas that came along were ok.

It’s hard to find good fish and chips around and while I admit bajas has incredible potential, I can’t help but say that the food was incredibly oily. Oily enough that it almost gave me a metallic feeling in my gut for the next half day.I look forward to coming back. Nice guys, just too oily and no hint of seasonings at all. Not even on the shrimpies. Hoping next go around is better.

Stopped in town to meet a friend and grab lunch. Arrived around 11am when most of the food trucks were just getting started. I opted to get the clam chowder from Baja Fish. There were two young women working, they both glanced at me standing at the window and neither acknowledged me. No hello, be right with you or even a smile. After waiting about 30+ seconds of being ignored, one of the women (no glasses) came to the window and just looked at me. Isn't this where they would ask, 'How can I help you?'. I just started speaking and told her I'd like the clam chowder. She rang it up, told me the cost and just stood there. I assumed she wanted payment so I handed her my card, she ran it, and gave me my receipt and a buzzer. She said nothing. When I did get my soup it was runny, watery even, and didn't have much flavor. I did take few bites of the bread bowl and it was good.My friend and I discussed the interaction and they agreed that the worker was really rude, almost like they were angry. I didn't enjoy my lunch because all I could think of was what the worker may have done to my food. I ate very little and threw most of it away.

BEST FISH AND CHIPS IVE EVER HADEdit: my husband and I used to come support this place pretty often but when we went yesterday, the fish and everything else on our plate was overcooked and unseasoned and the breading wasn't the same quality it used to be. When we came here in the past it was always cooked to perfection. Don't think we'll come here again after this experience.

SO GOOD!!!! I got the captain’s platter and I got to taste a bit of everything. Everything was fresh, crunchy, and I can tell the oil was clean due to the light color. The girl was super nice and accommodating! Will be back!!

Delicious, fresh fish with large portions! House tartar sauce is SO good. Coleslaw that came with our order was really good as well. Owner is super nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend and will be back!
