I saw their FB post and it sounded interesting, so I Googled them to take a look at their whole menu. What caught my eye was the birria egg rolls, so I thought I’d give them a try, and boy am I glad I did. I opted for the avocado salsa and that made them even more yummy. Will have guacamole on hand next time because I think that would be amazing, will definitely be getting those again.

This food truck is around the corner from our house, we had them tonight for the first time after hearing from neighbors how good they are. Could not recommend them more. The couple was lovely, the food decently priced especially for the quality and my god the FLAVORS!!! No pictures because we inhaled our meals.

My goodness!!! Hefty portions much?!? 🤩
I ordered the chicken bowl, and the portions were beyond generous, especially for you meat lovers out there. 👍
Also, the presentation was beautiful, with a lot of fresh greens topping it off.☝️

Once I dug in, it did not disappoint. 😋

My feedback would be, cut down on the salt, yet, I realize food-truck cooking can be tricky as the evening wears on. And, more distinctive/authentic flavors, maybe some cumin, cilantro, and a signature sauce, which I think is on the menu, but I didn't order.

Otherwise, give Carne Muerta a visit. 🌯 You won't be disappointed!!! 🌟

Thank you for being here, Carne Muerta. 🙏 I was so hungry, and your yum hit the spot with leftovers for tomorrow!!! ❣️

I’ve eaten at 15 different spots just to find one as impressive as this. I’d call it Mexican Fusion, but it’s so much more. There’s serious culinary skill at work here. The dish I had was like a cross between harumaki egg rolls and pork birria, stuffed with Monterey cheese. The house-made chipotle honey sauce and the avocado green sauce were absolute game-changers, bringing the flavors to a whole new level. The flavor profile was insane, like a perfect fusion of Mexico and Japan. There was zero excess oil, just incredibly balanced and precise flavors in every bite. Joseph clearly knows his stuff. His travels, from Napa, California to Tokyo, Japan, have given him an amazing understanding of flavors. Can’t wait to come back and try more from this food cart.

I was not even hungry when I arrived. I was going to gift most of the food, but ended up taking it home and eating the rest. Laugh out loud.
