Walking in the door you’re greeted with the best smelling tamales and by some of the nicest people I’ve met. They helped explain what each tamale was because I was kind of clueless. Walked out buying 16 tamales for just my wife and I. Really great prices as well! Each bite is like a small piece of heaven wrapped in masa. Y’all are sleeping on this place Salem!!! Go get some amazing tamales!

This review is for the taco stand outside the building when the store closes 6 tacos 18$ bucks made fresh their salsa bar First time their and wasn't let down give them a try under the red tent infringement of the store after hours I remembered to take a photo before eating them all!

We have been coming to this restaurant now for over 3 years, and they consistently have excellent food at very good prices. We are fans of spicy dishes with fresh veggies, and the hot and sour soup is one of the best. Tie guanin tea excellent, can’t say enough.

Despite all the amazing reviews, we used Uber Eats for the first food delivery order ever with a $30 discount promo. We ordered Hawaiian Shrimp, Shrimp Curry, and accidentally ordered fish n chips. The two shrimp dishes, aside from some extra red chili flakes in the curry tasted the same. The curry vegetables were all onion and celery with one small bit of red pepper for color. The fish and chips were crammed into a foldable box with fries sticking out of the box. Not a great experience and woukd t recommend this restaurant. It must have been a bad night but wouldn’t take this chance again.

After a terrible breakfast and a big day of covering the RV Show in Salem, we were starving for some good food. We decided on oriental and discovered a place online close to our hotel. Chen’s was a wonderful discovery. The food tasted so fresh, from the field to the plate fresh, the food was hot, so tasty and plentiful! The service was exceptional. A fantastic place where I would go again if I was in the area.
We seen that it was 5 stars, we had already talked ourselves out of chinese...but the reviews changed our mind. The place is clean, the wait staff were so sweet! The food was good solid chinese food. The mongolian beef was really good. This is a hidden jem, as they say. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.
