Gay Bars in Salem, OR

“I went here for the first time with a group of friends on my 30th birthday. I’ve lived here for over 3 years now and had never heard of it. It’s definitely in an odd location - me and my sister showed up in the Lyft and were slightly confused because it’s in a business park?? But I am SO glad we went. The bartenders were incredibly friendly, drinks came quickly (and were cheap compared to downtown Salem) and we felt taken care of by the servers. The performers were talented, charismatic, and hilarious! I’d been having a really, REALLY rough couple of months, and this place, the patrons, and the alll of the staff, performers etc made that night an absolutely magical experience for me. They called up all the birthday peeps and had us take a special shot (the name of which I can’t disclose here lol) and everyone sang happy birthday to us. I was enamored with the performers, and all of the patrons were SO friendly that despite not having as much experience in queer spaces as I’d like, I felt completely welcome, comfortable, and free to have a carefree night with my friends celebrating a huge milestone in my life. Haven’t been able to get back but I hope to go back as soon as possible. HIGHLY recommend!!“
