Drive 30 minutes to come here for lunch, super excited. We've been here one other time and he was sold out of damn near everything at 4:30pm. We arrive at 11:00am and every other food truck in the place is open EXCEPT for Jojo.. We wait around for 30mins, it's now 11:30am and he opens. We go to order and the only thing he has available is catfish. We came all this way for barbecue and there's none ready because instead of opening on time the food is just barely being started. Extremely disappointed. We'll just choose another place to go to and we certainly won't be spending our gas and time to come to a food truck just to be met with a woefully unprepared cook and disappointment.

The guy working in the cart was super friendly great southern hospitality, he even came and checked on us asked if we needed anything else something I didn't see the other carts do so we felt extra special. Don't get me started on their Mac and cheese the crust on it was so amazing. The pulled pork is to die for so juicy and flavorful. I just wish I got to try their ribs but they were sold out so they must be good.

Really rude customer service. I walked up to look at their menu when a customer came up to order and asked for an item. The worker with a cowboy hat on said in a really rude tone “well budy if you read the menu it shows that it’s only available on Wednesdays” the customer was visibly surprised but said “okay” and walked away. Despite the customer not reading the menu correctly, the employee shouldn’t have responded in a rude manner. The employees response was so unwarranted that I decided to keep looking at other option. I’ve previously had their pulled pork sandwich which was good but their Mac & cheese didn’t use the best options for cheese, I believe they used Valveeta cheese which I personally did not like, so it depends on how you like your Mac & Cheese.

Ricky knows how to “ throw down “! Had my first pulled pork last week. Returned for my second one THIS week. Worth a 200 mile round trip. Portions are HUGE!
The ribs were absolutely great and the young guy working there was super sweet and put up with my silliness. I ordered one full thing of ribs and a second set. It was absolutely delicious and highly recommend it.

Never mind. I placed an order almost THREE hours ago, and was just told they aren’t taking anymore catfish orders. Pretty sure mine was one of the first placed.

Best cart at The Yard, hands down. I've only gone on Fridays because that's when they have the fried catfish. Picked up 2 6 piece Catfish combos for the family and we still have leftovers. My kids tried my plate from here the last time we went to The Yard and while they enjoyed the food they got from another cart they said next time they want Catfish so we had to wait for another Friday to get it which was today. The sides are on point too, and there's no pork in them if you don't eat swine. Well worth the money we spent. The owner is cool too. We'll have to stop by on a Monday to try the Fried Chicken next I think.
