Macleay Country Inn restaurant & bar. The wknd. Prime Rib dinner is outstanding, good flavor. Excellent customer service & delicious food including loaded potato skins & homemade soups. Wonderful relaxing country atmosphere with amazing historic decor, paintings, chandeliers, & large fireplace. Fun bar is a separate area from a spacious elegant dining room with a large fireplace & paintings. We enjoy friendly staff & patrons who are repeat customers. Nice venue for birthday celebration.
Excellent service. We had a hard day after having to put our dog of 15 years down to rest and they comped us our 2 shots. The gal was so busy but she took time to make sure we had everything we needed and she made great recommendations for tequila and offered friendly conversation. Food was good and tasted fresh. We've now had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and enjoyed it each time. We will make it a point to visit more often.

It was OK for a pit stop. I like the atmosphere of the place but doubtful I'll buy food again if I stop by ever again. Waitress was too busy talking to check in on my table or would ignore my table when walking pass. No drink refills at any time, drink was empty entirety of meal.Wrong soup, waitress ignored me trying to get her attention until the prime rib was brought out and then noticed. Prime rib was good/medium rare around the edges but uncooked/Bleu/barely above fridge...read full review
