Nice atmosphere, dog friendly in the outdoor seating.

Been coming here consistently for a few years and it’s our families favorite local restaurant. Great food, drinks and service. Also so many different places to sit and enjoy different vibes between the bar, outdoor seating and upstairs parlor.

Our waiter informed us when we went to pay our bill that they do not take $100 bills. There is No sign posted saying no $100 bills. I do not use bank cards as I use cash for everything and never have problems as we go here every other week. We were embarrassed and treated horribly. In front of other tables our waiter was awful to us. We asked to speak to a supervisor as he said he's only been there 6 months. Apparently no manager was on that night. I did absolutely call the next day to speak to a manager and I was hung up on. I called back thinking it was maybe a mistake and the manager cussed at me and hung up.
Horrible behavior from multiple people.
We will never be a patron of that establishment again after being treated like that. We were very loyal until now. Unbelievable.

I love coming to this McMenamins for the atmosphere and service. On my birthday, Halloween, I don't usually get that day with friends or family because they have more important priorities than me. I have no kids but I know I want Halloween to be fun and most of the time that doesn't mean hanging out with your aunt, I get that. I came to McMenamins on my birthday and they built me a fire (I was the only person outside and I did not ask them too), the server made me laugh, they brought my dog water and I genuinely had a great night. They didn't even know it was my birthday. I won't forget it.

A favorite place to enjoy a cozy meal. My meal was delicious the servers were fantastic.

Not truly dog friendly establishment.
Horrible atmosphere that was made to embarrass me.

My waiter was kind and made me and my guest feel welcomed and cared for. However management should seriously consider releasing the server, John. He was not even my waiter and came to our table to scold me and believed my dog is aggressive. She was initiating play and was a happy puppy to patrons.
He approached our table, my first warning was my last that she was “too aggressive” and that I would have to leave.
Imagine my confusion as our server continued to take care of us, serve delicious ciders and advised me of no trouble.
He actually made sure our dogs had water ❤
As a passport tripper I’m disgusted at John’s behavior and lack of respect and understanding of guests with families and dogs.

This is not a place for a large group. We had to squeeze in to a table made for 6. Food was great. They have gluten free options.

Bopped in to get a stamp and a quick drink for our passports, and this was hands down one of our favorite Mcmennies so far!!! Loved the vibes and the staff, Dalton (our bartender) was amazing and had all the fun facts about the property!! One of my favorite experiences so far!🤗❤️
