Where's Hometown buffet when you need it?

There was a heavy amount of MSG in the food. I had a severe reaction to the food and woke up with an excruciating headache the next day. Be aware if you are sensitive to MSG. The service was ok.

FOOD ARE COLD! Not a lot of selection. Food quality is horrible, definitely not worth the price. We paid $75 for 3 adults, 8yr child and 4 drinks. Again, not worth it. Don’t waste your time, you could potentially get sick due to the food temp not within regulations

Its a very welcoming place. The decor is better than it has been in forever, granted I have only been here 1 time after it changed from hometown. 4 stars in the food because imitation crab meat with the shrimp. Otherwise it was pretty good. My kids loved it.
4 stars because assigning yourself a gratituity/tip isn't ok and makes me not want to leave a bigger tip.

On May 18, I went to this buffet. The food was great however when it came time to pay the waiter, took my card and had my card for about 20 minutes. I got very suspicious, but did not want to ruin dinner. My husband then also noticed that they were taking a while with my card and he decided to ask them where my card was. They gave my husband, my card, and the waiter started giggling. The very next day I had a $39.99 Charge for beauty supplies. I decided to dispute it with my bank On May 19 as well as made a phone call to the restaurant where they denied all allegations because they “know everybody there” It’s not like me to leave bad reviews for absolutely anybody, but when it comes to stealing money, that’s where I cross the line . My bank finally did a monthlong investigation and came to the conclusion that the supplies were ordered online and sent to this exact restaurant. I am so beyond upset because this is a restaurant that my parents love to go to. I have advised my parents and anybody that goes to honestly just take cash or go to a place that Actually has employees with morals.
