My partner is Celiac and it's so hard for her to find places that are safe to eat, that also allow for variety and -taste-. We found One in a Melon Meals on the Find Me GF app, which told us that this is a completely gluten-free food cart, which also has vegan and dairy free options. My partner usually opts for the Roccstar quinoa meal. This is a huge helping of Moroccan BBQ chicken on a bed of quinoa, along with a side salad of tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese, and olives. She's never been disappointed. The service is wonderful, and she gets her food quickly, often more quickly than our boys, who go to another cart for meatballs. It's steaming hot and obviously prepared fresh to order. She devours the whole thing and often has to hold back from getting a larger size. She's also ordered online, and had it delivered, and the quality hasn't suffered a bit. The food is healthy, delicious, and run by local people. It's part of a food cart pod, smallish, but with plenty of other options available for members of a group. Seating is ample and there's even a beer truck, if that's your thing. So, there's really no reason that anyone, not just gluten- free and gluten sensitive people, should have to not check this place out.

This place is a gem. Lots of interesting dishes to try. The chicken pesto with zucchini pasta was surprisingly delicious. I would have preferred a stronger pesto flavor, but I'll still order it again. The shrimp with quinoa and butter basted steak was delicious. Wide variety of gluten free and dairy free options. The cook seemed to be a chef. Well prepared, hand chopped fruits, the chicken and beef were both high quality. Inside the Bee Hive food cart pod. There's plenty of seating most inside a tent.

While I’m glad that a place like this exists in Salem, I was disappointed with my delivery. I ordered the ginger trio with quinoa, and for $12 my quinoa is the consistency of wet mashed potatoes, it’s missing the spinach, the avocado is hard and rubbery, and the sauce is already mixed in. The box was half empty. The petunia salad I ordered is very good with riper avocado, good shrimp, and sauce on the side in a full box. These must have been made by two different people. I will probably give this place another try, but it seems like it will be very hit and miss.

We were in the area, so decided to check it out. I had a pick-your-own combo as not only do I have to eat GF & DF, I can't eat anything acidic. I had a bowl with lettuce, chicken, marinated in olive oil bell peppers, mushrooms, cilantro, and watermelon. It was so good! I got an avocado sauce as well, but it was so salty, I couldn't eat it. Luckily, it came on the side. The food cart is 100% GF. I highly recommend--especially if you like heat. There were tons of flavor combos I wish I could have tried, but I am not supposed to eat spicy foods because of my acid reflux. I would definitely go back.

The food and the service was outstanding!! I hate leftovers and I even ate my boyfriends left overs. I wish I took pictures of the food but it all smelt so good we started eating our as it was in our hands.
