How can I keep it short? So many good points about Paradiso. Our favorite server remembers us and makes excellent suggestions. The cocktails are lovely - I order the ones with the most ingredients that I don't have at home. My dining friend orders Vespers, and we are both pleased. Sometimes getting the cocktails to the table takes longer than we think it should, but that is the only slow part of the evening. We have had so much good food there. My ribeye last night was exactly how I like it. The airline chicken was "flavorsome and moist not dry. It had a lovely flavor." Plus we both have lunch for at least two days from our leftovers. I've tried two salads - the duck and the pea and both were lovely. My friend has had the Thai shrimp and loved that - it is spicy. The platings are works of art. Which brings to mind the sauces - this chef likes sauces and creates them beautifully, both visually and tastefully. The clam appetizer couldn't be better. See? We keep thinking up more delights to add to this review but I will stop now.

My husband and I have consistently had a great dining experience at Paradiso, from Greg’s delicious and innovative cocktails (and Robin’s uncanny ability to remember what we like!) to the beautiful and incredibly delicious meals with delightful amuse-bouche/palate cleansers to boot! Such a breath of fresh air to Salem’s dining!!

Not sure if this was an off night, but our food wasn't very good, not the usual standard that we're used to. The pork loin was extremely dry and the chicken was not the usual outstanding quality it normally is. It was busy so we knew we'd be waiting a while. We were both so hungry that we just ate it anyways. The staff seemed extremely stressed and very very busy so we chose not to send anything back. I hope this improves in the future.

My husband and I were looking for a special place to celebrate our anniversary, and chose Paradiso. Wow! What a great place! Everything from the cocktails and appetizers to the main entree and desert were perfect! The crab stuffed salmon was so good and my husband loved the stuffed squash. Our server Robin was amazing, and she even surprised us with a little desert to help us celebrate. We will definitely be coming back again. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a special evening out.

First time visiting this restaurant, beautiful setting and friendly staff. A little congested/small inside which is not a big deal if you get seated at a booth. We got seated at one of the small tables and were unable to be moved to one of the 2 open booths despite having a reservation ahead of time and myself being pregnant and needing the accommodation/space that a booth would provide. The tables in the middle of the room are very small and there is no where to set your purse, it would be nice if they had a purse hanger stand like they offer at other nice restaurants downtown such as Davincis. The food was very good though. My husband loved the filet mignon but his potatoes were rather bland. My salmon was amazing too but a tad bit on the dry side. Dessert was to die for. The service we received was excellent and made the experience worth it.

Hands down best food in Salem and amazing service! We eat every bite every time!
Took our mother-in-law for her 87th birthday dinner. The service was awesome, especially Robyn, and the food outstanding. We had refreshing cocktails, thoughtful amuse bouche and appetizers (crab cakes!!!), we'll prepared entrees, and several yummy desserts(the berry shortcake and the crème brûlée ??). Definitely worth the time and money. Many thanks!

If you're coming from out of town or for a special occasion I would not recommend this place. The hostess was very intentionally unaccommodating and the only person on our trip that was unfriendly. Cozy taberna is twice as good and Rudy's was overall better too.

Food & service & atmosphere great! Music too loud on both night there. Ate here 2 nights in a row it was so yummy. And easy walk from our hotel.
The filet mignon was perfectly prepared - all sides sooo tasty. Next night had stuffed salmon. Another home run!
